    Abstract: A control system for an automated warehouse system (1) includes a controller (51) controlling the automated warehouse system (1), the automated warehouse system (1) including: a rack (10) for arranging at least one storing bin (20) for storing at least one item (23); a plurality of picking stations (40) for picking the item (23) from one or more of the storing bins (20) to one or more shipping bins (20A) for containing an item (23) to be shipped; and a plurality of transportation robots (30) for transporting the storing bin (20) and the shipping bin (20A). The controller (51) controls one or more of the transportation robots (30) to separately transport, among the one or more shipping bins (20A), at least a shipping bin (20A) for a first ship-to destination and a shipping bin (20A) for a second ship-to destination to the picking station (40) and controls one or more of the transportation robots (30) to transport the one or more storing bins (20) to the picking station (40), the one or more storing bins (20) each containing the item (23) for the first ship-to destination and the second ship-to destination.

    A transportation robot control system 3 controls transportation robots 30 in a warehouse system 1.     Abstract: An automated warehouse system with a simple configuration allowing for deployment of a shield wall is provided. The automated warehouse system includes a rack including a plurality of floors each including a plurality of floor panels. The floors permit travel of the transportation robot along surfaces of the floors. The plurality of floors are divided into a first section and a second section spaced with a gap in between. A retreat mechanism establishes a first configuration to be located in the gap to permit the transportation robot to travel between the first section and the second section and a second configuration to retreat from the gap to unclose the gap. When the retreat mechanism establishes the second configuration, a shield wall becomes receivable into the gap, the shield wall shielding the first section and the second section from each other.

This method for assembling a rack includes steps of: assembling each of the floors from a lower floor to an upper floor by attaching the floor module to the support column; and detaching the at least one floor module from the support column on each of the floors to secure a route for an operator to go down to the floor of the lower floor from the upper floor in the assembling step.
