Abstract: A unitary panel edging member is disclosed in which a first channel is formed with an inturned flange for gripping the edge of a panel of various thicknesses, such first channel being so adaptable without adversely affecting the outer walls of such edging member. The member includes a second channel for receiving a corner connector therein. When the member is in the stile, the second channel faces in the same direction as the first channel. When the member is the rail, the second channel faces in the opposite direction with respect to the first channel. A panel assembly including a rail and stile edging member and corner connector is also disclosed.
