Abstract: In a wireless communication system, a user equipment (UE) transmits, to a base station (BS), UE capability information comprising whether the UE supports cooperative communication for receiving physical downlink shared channels (PDSCHs) from a plurality of transmission reception points (TRPs) in a particular time-frequency resource, obtains, via radio resource control (RRC), information about whether the cooperative communication is to be applied from the BS, identifies a format of a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) received from the BS based on whether the BS is to apply the cooperative communication, and determines transmission configuration indication (TCI) states according to the respective TRPs, based on the identified format of the MAC CE.

Abstract: A method, performed by a terminal, of determining a channel state information processing unit (CPU) occupation time in a wireless communication system, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, includes: receiving, from a base station, information indicating activation of a semi-persistent channel state information (CSI) report; receiving, from the base station, at least one CSI-reference signal (RS) for the semi-persistent CSI report; and determining a CPU occupation time for the semi-persistent CSI report based on at least one of a reception time point of the information indicating the activation of the semi-persistent CSI report or a reception time point of the at least one CSI-RS.
