Abstract: An electronic device includes a display; a camera; a first light emitting module, wherein each of the camera and the first light emitting module comprises a first type polarizing filter; a second light emitting module including a second type polarizing filter that is different from the first type polarizing filter; and at least one processor configured to: obtain a first image by using the camera, based on a first light output from the first light emitting module and a second light output from the second light emitting module; identify at least one feature point in the first image; and control the display to display the first image and information related to the at least one feature point.

Abstract: According to certain embodiments, an electronic device comprises: a housing; an optical sensor module disposed in the housing and including one or more light-emitting elements, and one or more light-receiving elements; a light source driver disposed in the housing and configured to control power supply of the one or more light-emitting elements; and at least one processor disposed in the housing and operatively connected to the optical sensor module and the light source driver, wherein the at least one processor is configured to identify a light source of the one or more light-emitting elements and turn-on/off timings of the one or more light-emitting elements according to a sensor measurement mode or a measurement function when the optical sensor module is driven, configure a control signal of the light source driver in response to the identified turn-on/off timings of the one or more light-emitting elements, based on the control signal, apply an output voltage of the light source driver as power of the one or more light-emitting elements in a turn-on period of the one or more light-emitting elements, and block the power of the one or more light-emitting elements by limiting output of the light source driver in a turn-off period of the one or more light-emitting elements.

Abstract: A first electronic device according to various embodiments may include: a display; a communication module comprising communication circuitry; a camera module including at least one camera; and a processor. The processor may be configured to: identify a request for measuring a skin condition of a user in a state in which the first electronic device is cradled on a second electronic device; acquire, based on information of the camera module and information regarding at least one light-emitting element included in the second electronic device, control information for controlling output of the at least one light-emitting element; control output of light from the at least one light-emitting element of the second electronic device based on the control information; acquire at least one image including at least a part of a body of the user through the camera module while light is output through the at least one light-emitting element controlled based on the control information; and provide information regarding the skin condition of the user using the at least one image.

Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed. According to an embodiment disclosed herein, an electronic device may include a PPG sensor including a light emitter that applies a current in a specified range and emits a light signal corresponding to the current and a light detector that amplifies a received light signal by applying one of a plurality of gain values, a memory that stores a plurality of sets of PPG models corresponding to the plurality of gain values and including a current value and PPG level data corresponding to the current value, and at least one processor electrically connected to the PPG sensor and the memory, wherein the at least one processor may acquire a first PPG signal from the PPG sensor set with a first current value satisfying the specified range and a first gain value of the plurality of gain values when a user's contact is detected by the PPG sensor, generate a first PPG model corresponding to the user based on a first PPG model set corresponding to the first gain value among the plurality of sets of PPG models, the first current value and the first PPG signal, determine a second gain value and a second current value for acquiring a PPG signal with a specified PPG level, based at least on the first PPG model set, and acquire a second PPG signal with the specified PPG level using the PPG sensor set with the second gain value and the second current value. In addition, various embodiments understood from the specification are possible.
