Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments may include: a housing, a flexible display having at least a partial area configured to be drawn out from the housing so that a size of a visible area of the flexible display can be changed, a sensor configured to measure a length of the flexible display, a memory, a processor operatively connected to the memory, the sensor, and the flexible display. The processor may be configured to control the electronic device to: display a first content including at least one image in a first area including a partial area of the flexible display in response to an input, measure a length of the flexible display drawn out from the housing using the sensor, based on the length of the flexible display measured using the sensor being a specified first length, determine that the electronic device is in a non-expanded state, and based on the length of the flexible display measured using the sensor being a second length longer than the first length, determine that the electronic device is in an expanded state. In addition, the processor may be configured to control the electronic device to: based on the electronic device being in an expanded state, display the first content in the first area, and display a user interface corresponding to at least one application and/or second content obtained by converting the first content into a form corresponding to a function provided by the at least one application in a second area including a partial area of the flexible display, drawn out from the housing to be visible, and transmit, in response to an input, data corresponding to the first content to a server connected to the at least one application.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, an electronic device may include: a flexible display having a first portion disposed to be visible from an outside and a second portion extending from the first portion and accommodated in an inner space to be invisible from the outside in a slide-in state; a housing whose having a variable size wherein the flexible display is configured to be expanded in response to a change from the slide-in state to a slide-out state; a sensor disposed in the inner space and configured to detect a moving distance of the flexible display; a memory; and a processor operatively connected to the flexible display, the sensor, and the memory. The processor may be configured to: identify a first distance for the flexible display through the sensor in response to the change from the slide-in state to the slide-out state, control the display to display a user interface through the flexible display based on the first distance, detect a touch on at least a partial region of the flexible display, identify a second distance for the flexible display based on coordinate information corresponding to the detected touch, adjust a size or position of the user interface based on a difference value between the first distance and the second distance, and control the display to display the adjusted user interface through the flexible display.

Abstract: An electronic device includes at least one wireless communication circuit; a display, a processor, and a memory configured to store first information associated with new radio (NR) cell searching, the memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to receive a system information block (SIB) including information indicating that evolved terrestrial radio access network (E-UTRAN) new radio-dual connectivity (EN-DC) is possible, from a long-term evolution (LTE) base station by using the at least one wireless communication circuit; select a cell of the LTE base station based at least partly on the SIB, using the at least one wireless communication circuit; display a first indicator associated with availability of LTE on a partial region of the display, in response to selecting the cell of the LTE base station; after selecting the cell of the LTE base station, perform the NR cell searching based at least partly on the first information, using the at least one wireless communication circuit; display a second indicator associated with availability of NR on the partial region of the display, based at least partly on the result of the NR cell searching; and display a third indicator obtained by changing at least part of a color or shading of the second indicator, on the partial region of the display in response to performing data transmission to an NR base station after determining the result of the NR cell searching.

Abstract: An operating method of an electronic device is provided. The method includes measuring an external temperature of the electronic device by using at least one sensor. The method may calculate, from an entire region of a flexible display, a fixed region that is visually exposed to an outside regardless of a screen size of the electronic device, and a variable region that is visually exposed at least in part to the outside in a screen expansion or screen size change state of the electronic device. The method may compare the external temperature with a preset first threshold temperature, thereby determining heating of the variable region in response to the external temperature being less than the first threshold temperature. The method may heat the variable region by controlling at least one of a luminance or a driving frequency of the variable region.

Abstract: According to certain embodiments, an electronic device, comprises a sensor module; a flexible display; and a processor operatively connected to the sensor module and the flexible display, wherein the processor is configured to: measure a first position of the flexible display using the sensor module, thereby resulting in a measured first position value, measure a second position of the flexible display using the sensor module based on a movement of the flexible display, thereby resulting in a measured second position value, determine a change amount in movement of the flexible display using the measured first position value and a measured second position value, thereby resulting in a determined movement change, correct the measured second position value using a threshold based on the determined movement change amount of the flexible display, thereby resulting in a corrected second position value, and display a screen based on the corrected second position value.
