Abstract: A tactile sensation presenting device includes: a tactile sensation presenting section having a plurality of electrodes to present a tactile sensation by electrical stimulation at a specific portion of a user; and a control section capable of controlling the tactile sensation presenting section to provide electrical stimulation using at least one of the plurality of electrodes as an anode and at least another one of the plurality of electrodes as a cathode. The control section measures a flowability of an electric current through the specific portion of the user and adjusts an execution mode of the electrical stimulation based on a result of the measurement.

Abstract: A tactile sensation presenting device includes a tactile sensation presenting section and a control section. The tactile sensation presenting section includes anodic and cathodic electrodes. The control section can switch each anodic electrode between a first state (anodic potential) and a second state (floating potential) and can switch each cathodic electrode between a third state (cathodic potential) and a fourth state (floating potential). The control section controls the tactile sensation presenting section such that at least any one of the anodic electrodes is in the first state, with the others in the second state, at least one of the cathodic electrodes at least within a distance of 1.0 mm or less from the first-state anodic electrode is in the fourth state, with the others in the third state, and a total area of the first-state anodic electrode and the third-state cathodic electrodes is equal to or greater than 0.7 cm2.

Abstract: Provided is a liquid crystal display element capable of switching between a transparent state and a scattering state and of reducing or preventing a decrease in luminance in the scattering state. The liquid crystal display element includes a liquid crystal panel containing a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal containing a polymer network and a liquid crystal component, and a light source module including a light source adjacent to the liquid crystal panel and a mirror configured to reflect light emitted from the light source toward the liquid crystal panel.

Abstract: A display device includes a first light emitting component emitting light having a first wavelength in a wavelength range of blue light as a dominant wavelength, a second light emitting component emitting light having a second wavelength that is in the wavelength range of blue light as a dominant wavelength and longer than the first wavelength, first and second color filters that are disposed on a light exit side with respect to the first and second light emitting components and selectively transmit blue light in the wavelength range of blue light. The first color filter has a transmission spectrum in which a peak wavelength is a third wavelength in the wavelength range of blue light and the second color filter has a transmission spectrum in which a peak wavelength is a fourth wavelength in the wavelength range of blue light. The fourth wavelength is longer than the third wavelength.
