Abstract:
A wearable electronic display system detects aircraft flight related conditions, compares the detected flight related conditions with rules or procedures, retrieves flight condition information relating to phase of flight, and displays small amounts of contextually relevant flight condition information on a display screen.
Abstract:
A computing device for displaying procedures for an aircraft is provided. The computing device includes a presentation interface, a user input interface, and a processing device coupled to the presentation interface and to the user input interface. The processing device is configured to cause the presentation interface to display an initial procedure display, and in response to a triggering event, cause the presentation interface to display an adjusted procedure display that emphasizes a predetermined portion of a procedure.

Abstract:
Concepts described herein may provide available RCO information that may be used when moving from one RCO to another RCO. Range rings for the available RCOs may be calculated and adjusted based on current flight conditions. The range rings may be prioritized to provide a prioritized list of available RCOs.
Abstract:
An environment associated with at least one crew member is identified, and a line-of-sight associated with the at least one crew member is determined. An alarm is generated when the line-of-sight remains within a predetermined area for an elapsed time that exceeds a first predetermined temporal threshold associated with the identified environment.

Abstract:
Electronic map display information is generated. A map display comprising mapping data for a geographic region is generated. The mapping data is rendered on a map display. A plurality of concentric rings are overlaid on the map display. Each of the rings are indicative of a scaling factor for the mapping data. The scaling factor is adjusted based in a context of the map display.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for managing a touch screen system. Data generated by an acceleration detector about acceleration of the touch screen system is received. The acceleration detector is located within the touch screen system. An action is initiated by an input manager when the acceleration of the touch screen system reduces usability of the touch screen system.
