    Abstract: A reflection-type display panel includes a substrate, a pixel electrode formed on the substrate, a reflection display layer formed on the pixel electrode, a transparent electrode formed on the reflection display layer, and a color filter formed on the transparent electrode and including an ink fixation layer. The color filter has colored portions formed on the ink fixation layer such that the colored portions correspond respectively to driving units of the pixel electrode, and the colored portions each include a coloring composition including a pigment and a binder resin such that a weight ratio of the pigment to the binder resin in each of the colored portions is in a range of from 1:9 to 5:5.
