    Abstract: A lens module with light-passing hole which is finely adjustable in size includes a lens and aperture assembly. The aperture assembly includes cover body, driving member, rotating disk, and light-blocking blades. The cover body is outside the lens and defines a first aperture. The rotating disk is on the cover body and defines a second and adjustable aperture. The blades are between the cover body and rotating disk, each blade comprising a side surface and the plurality of blades work together to form a light-passing hole. The rotating disk is driven to rotate by the driving member, the blades thereby moving closer to or away from each other, to adjust an aperture of the lens module. The present disclosure further provides an electronic device.

    Abstract: A camera module includes a composite base, an optical lens arranged at a first side of the composite base; and a circuit board arranged at a second side of the composite base. The composite base includes a metal frame and a plastic frame. The metal frame includes a plurality of first metal strips connected end to end and at least one second metal strip corresponding extending from part of the plurality of first metal strips. The plastic frame includes a plurality of first plastic strips connected end to end and at least one second plastic strip extending from part of the plurality of first plastic strip. The first plastic strips are fixed to the first metal strips to form a top wall of the composite base, and the second plastic strips are connected to the second metal strips to form a side wall of the composite base.

    Abstract: A lens module able to disperse accumulated water vapor includes a circuit board, a carrier, a glass cover, an image sensor, and a reinforcement layer. The carrier on the circuit board defines an opening on a side away from the circuit board and carries the glass cover. The circuit board, the glass cover, and the carrier enclose a receiving chamber containing the image sensor. A projection of the opening on the circuit board partially overlaps a projection of the image sensor on the circuit board. The reinforcement layer on an inner surface of the carrier adjacent to the receiving chamber absorbs water vapor and any stray light reflected from the image sensor to improve image quality. An electronic device including the lens module is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A carrying frame includes a main body, a first rotating part, a second rotating part, and a driving part. The main body includes a first inner surface which defines a first through hole. The first rotating part is mounted on the first inner surface and comprises a second inner surface which defines a second through hole.     Abstract: A mechanism to render a lens module immune to trembling and jarring includes a carrier, a support element movably mounted on the carrier, and a driving element. The driving element includes a conductive structure arranged on the carrier, a plurality of positive pads on the carrier, and a plurality of shape memory alloy (SMA) wires. The SMA wires are electrically connected to the positive pads and the conductive structure. When currents flow into the SMA wires via the positive pads, the SMA wires deform upon heating and pull on the conductive structure, thus the conductive structure drives the support element to rotate in a plane parallel to the carrier. A lens module and an electronic device including the mechanism are also disclosed.

The lens base axially defines a through hole. The lens is mounted within the lens base. The lens base includes a screw thread formed along an inner wall of the through hole. The lens includes mating threads formed along a periphery of the lens contacting the inner wall of the through hole. The mating threads define at least one thread slot which defines a gap with the screw threads of the inner wall of the through hole.

    Abstract: A voice coil motor held immobile by magnetic attraction when not in use for photography purposes includes a base, a magnet fixed thereto, a carrier, a magnetic member, and a coil. The magnetic member is fixed to the carrier and is attracted by a permanent magnetic field (first MF) of the magnet on the base. The coil is fixed to the carrier and the magnetic member. When the voice coil motor is powered on, the coil generates a second magnetic field (second MF) opposing the first MF. The second MF reduces or eliminates the attractive force of the first MF of the magnet, to separate the carrier and its fittings and allow them to work freely. A lens module and an electronic device are further provided.
