Abstract: A paint sprayer includes a cart assembly supporting a motor and a fluid intake conduit. The cart assembly has a frame with a pair of spaced-apart legs for supporting the cart assembly in an upright position, a telescoping handle movable between a retracted and extended handle position, an upper bracket, a lower bracket and a pivoting support bracket movable between a stowed position and a support position. The pivoting support bracket supports the cart assembly in an inclined position between the upright position and a horizontal position of the cart assembly. The cart assembly has a pair of lower wheels for rolling the cart assembly when tilted back from the upright position and a pair of upper wheels disposed on the telescoping handle for rolling the cart assembly along with the pair of lower wheels when in the horizontal position.

Abstract: There is provided an airless paint spray pump wherein the pump is a double acting piston pump having an inlet communicating with a source of paint, a motor for driving the pump, a pressure controller for controlling the pressure of the pressurized paint delivered by the pump, and a filter for filtering the paint delivered by the pump. The pump includes features which increase the accessibility of the components thereof, prevent the incorrect installation of the seal packings in the pump cylinder, and allow the assembly of the piston in the pump cylinder properly aligned with the cylinder so as not to damage the seal packings therein.
