Abstract: The obstacle detection system for a work vehicle enables an obstacle, present in the surroundings of a work vehicle, to be accurately detected. This obstacle detection system for a work vehicle has: a plurality of imaging devices that take images of the surroundings of a work vehicle; and an image processing device that performs, according to a time division system, an obstacle identification process for identifying an obstacle on the basis of the images from the plurality of imaging devices. The image processing device changes a to-be-processed cycle per unit time for the plurality of imaging devices in the time division system in accordance with the vehicle speed and the traveling direction of the work vehicle.

Abstract: To suppress an increase in the range in which obstacle detection is not executable and prevent the false detection of a movable part as an obstacle, the present invention includes: distance sensors 101, 102 provided in a work vehicle 1 and capable of measuring the distance to a measurement target; an obstacle control unit that executes collision avoidance control upon detecting a measurement target within a predetermined distance as an obstacle based on measurement results from the distance sensors 101, 102; a masking range setting unit that sets a masking range in which the detection of obstacles is not executed and the execution of the collision avoidance control is restricted; and a range-of-movement acquisition unit that acquires the range of movement of movable parts 5, 12 provided in the work vehicle 1, wherein the masking range setting unit sets the masking range corresponding to the range of movement.

Abstract: Provided is an obstacle detection system for a work vehicle, with which the reduction of costs or labor required for preparatory work can be achieved. In an obstacle detection system for a work vehicle, three left-side and three right-side ultrasonic sensors 103A-103C, 104A-104C are disposed on the left and right sides of a work vehicle 1, respectively, and the measurement ranges Na-Nc thereof are continuous in the front and rear direction. In addition, a control unit 105 for distance measurement performs: position detection processing for detecting the position of an object with respect to the vehicle in the front and rear direction on the basis of a distance measurement operation of the ultrasonic sensors 103A-103C, 104A-104C having the continuous measurement ranges Na-Nc; and displacement detection processing for detecting the movement of the object in the front and rear direction on the basis of the distance measurement operation sequence of the ultrasonic sensors 103A-103C, 104A-104C having the continuous measurement ranges Na-Nc.
