Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a paper splicing apparatus that can improve workability of an operator and splicing accuracy at low cost with a simple construction. Thus, a paper splicing apparatus that carries out paper splicing by sticking together a tip of a new web pulled out from a rolled web to an old web drawn out from another rolled web comprises a first reciprocating member provided to freely reciprocate in an approaching/departing direction to/from a surface of the old web, a second reciprocating member provided to freely reciprocate in the approaching/departing direction independently of the first reciprocating member, a first roller pivotally supported to freely rotate with respect to the first reciprocating member, and a second roller pivotally supported to freely rotate with respect to the second reciprocating member with the new web fastened between the first roller and the second roller.
Abstract:
It is to propose an internal member for a plasma treating vessel having excellent resistances to chemical corrosion and plasma erosion under an environment containing a halogen gas and an advantageous method of producing the same, which is a member formed by covering a surface of a substrate with a multilayer composite layer consisting of a metal coating formed as an undercoat, Al2O3 film formed on the undercoat as a middle layer and Y2O3 sprayed coating formed on the middle layer as a top coat.
Abstract:
A composite steel sheet including a steel base member; an undercoat having opposed surfaces and a thickness of 10-750 .mu.m obtained by spraying one or more spraying materials selected from metals, non-oxide ceramics, oxide ceramics and cermets onto the steel base member. The undercoat has an oxide layer of not less then 0.5 .mu.m in thickness on one of the opposed surfaces positioned away from said steel base member. A fired topcoat is formed on the oxide layer of the undercoat from a vitreous coating having a linear expansion coefficient of 4-11.times.10.sup.-6 /.degree.C.
Abstract:
To provide heat-resistant alloy members that maintain the resistance to corrosion at high temperature of the chromized layer formed on Ni- or Co-base heat-resistant alloys and which yet are improved in various mechanical properties. The improved Ni- or Co-base heat-resistant alloy member having a chromized layer that is characterized by having a chromium concentration of 25-80% and a thickness of 10-100 .mu.m. This member is produced by controlling both the vapor pressure of a chromium halide being used in chromization and the temperature therefor in such a way that the chromized layer being formed is adjusted to have a chromium concentration and a thickness within the ranges specified above.
Abstract:
An optical element supported to an optical element supporting lead is sealed by a package having a lens. A height t2 from the rear surface of the optical element supporting lead at the portion projected outside from the package to the rear surface of the package is set to be substantially equal to a height t1 from the surface of the optical element to a top of a lens or the difference between the heights t1 and t2 is set small. Thus, the package can be assembled into a printed circuit board or the like by an insertion machine. Moreover, a power-saving and a mass-production become possible.
Abstract:
In order to prevent production of build-up resistance and wear resistance on a roll for use in heat treating furnace effectively, an alloy layer, a cermet sprayed layer having reinforced zone and a chemical conversion coating are provide in this order on a roll substrate to form a multi-coating layer.
Abstract:
System for mounting an electronic component on a printed circuit board comprises a vacuum fastener (4) for picking up an electronic component (2), an image sensor (6) (like a television camera) for taking a picture of the electronic component (2) picked up by said vacuum fastener (4), an image signal processor (7) for providing error signals for compensation of positional error of said electronic component (2) on the vacuum fastener (4), and NC control device (8) for actuating the printed circuit board (10) under the electronic component (2) responsive to said error signals, so that the electronic component (2) is mounted on an accurate location on the printed circuit board (10).
Abstract:
Apparatus for supplying and transferring electronic components includes a plurality of pallets each for receiving and holding one electronic component. An endless conveying mechanism conveys the pallets in an intermittent fashion in a substantially horizontal plane. A supply unit mechanism selectively supplies electronic components to the pallets.
Abstract:
A spray coated member having an excellent resistance to plasma erosion is produced by irradiating an electron beam to an outermost surface layer portion of a ceramic spray coated portion covering a surface of a substrate to form an electron beam irradiated layer.
Abstract:
A battery pack has a charge and discharge count measuring part (131) configured to measure the number of times of charges and discharges of a secondary battery based on the summed value of the charge current for the secondary battery, and a decay rate output part (132) configured to compute a decay rate that indicates a degree of decay of the secondary battery based on the number of times of charges and discharges measured by the charge and discharge count measuring part (131) and to output it to a device being a discharge load. For example, the charge and discharge count measuring part (131) repeatedly sums the detected values of the charge current to a predetermined threshold, and counts up the number of times of charges and discharges every time when the summed value reaches the threshold. Accordingly, even though charges and discharges are repeated at finer steps in a relatively narrow voltage range, the number of times of charges and discharges can be counted accurately, and the computing accuracy of the decay rate is improved. In the battery pack in which the secondary battery is accommodated, parameters for detecting the remaining amount of the battery are detected more accurately.
