A beverage filter or treatment bottle system has a bottle, lid, and a beverage improvement component such as a filter element. A filter element may be positioned to separate the interior space of the bottle into a filtered beverage compartment and an unfiltered beverage compartment. A tube passes through the filter into fluid communication with the filtered beverage compartment. The tube extends through the unfiltered beverage compartment to a nozzle in the lid of the bottle. A lid cover is fastenable onto the lid to enclose and close the nozzle. A filter cartridge may be provided. A UV sterilizer may be provided. An air bypass may be provided.

Provided is a filtration device that can increase a filtration treatment amount by suppressing clogging of a filtration filter. A filtration device according to the present invention includes: a filtration filter that includes a filter that filters a filtration target contained in a fluid, and a frame that holds the filter; a support structure that holds the frame such that the filter is bent; and a fluid supplying unit that supplies the fluid with the filter being in a bent state.

A rigid support is disposed in a filtration media element. A first gas-permeable filtration media layer is disposed in an overlapping orientation with a second gas-permeable filtration media layer. The first and second layers define a void in which the support is disposed. The first layer is attached to the second layer near opposing edges of the first and second layers and at an attachment termination point substantially centrally located on the filtration media element. The filtration media element has a first media end and an opposite, second media end. The support has a first support portion that extends from the first media end toward the attachment termination point. The support has second and third support portions that extend from the first support portion toward the second media end with a gap between the second and third support portions in which the attachment termination point is disposed.

An oil filter assembly (10) has a receiving chamber (18) that can be closed by a cover element (14) and a spring-loaded supporting tube (22) that is fixed in the receiving chamber and is designed to receive a filter element (20) that can be radially traversed by oil. The supporting tube (22) is axially displaceable between an operating position and a drain position in such a way that, in the operating position when the receiving chamber is closed by the cover element (14), the tube closes a drain opening (42). When the receiving chamber is open in the drain position, the tube releases the drain opening. The supporting tube is mounted to rotate through a rotational angle that is limited by two rotational stops (41, 43) in the housing and the cover element has follower sections (66, 68, 70) that co-operate with the supporting tube and/or filter element to rotate the supporting tube through the rotational angle when the cover element is screwed on and/or unscrewed.

An apparatus, system and method to facilitate fluid flow across a filter. The apparatus includes a filtration layer coupled to a support layer to form a composite filter. The support layer includes a hydroentangled cellulosic material forming a plurality of apertures. The apertures form channels to facilitate fluid flow across the filter while the support layer provides structural support to the filtration layer to enable lateral flow while preventing pleat deformation and collapse.
