Abstract:
An insert of a cartridge for use with a liquid diffusing device is provided. The insert includes a body, an inlet provided in the body to receive diffused liquid generated within the cartridge during operation of the liquid diffusing device, an outlet zone defined at least in part by the body through which to discharge the diffused liquid toward an external environment, and a tortuous passage extending between the inlet and the outlet zone to aid in further reducing an average particle size of the diffused liquid as the diffused liquid moves through the tortuous passage. Removable cartridges for use with a diffusion device are also provided which include such an insert.

Abstract:
The present technology presents an apparatus for cleaning the air and surfaces within an enclosed space of a viral, microbial, or malodor contamination. In an exemplary embodiment, the apparatus includes: a container configured to contain a water and a solid or gel pack that releases the gaseous cleaning agent upon contact with the water; an aerator housed in the base of the container; an air distributor in the container configured to distribute air from the aerator into the container to cause agitation of the water and release of gaseous agent; and a lid on the container having an opening configured to accelerate an air-borne spray of gaseous agent and water droplets therethrough into the surroundings.

Abstract:
A sprayer that includes two pressurized tanks physically and fluidly coupled to each other is disclosed. One tank is inverted with respect to the other so that the top of one tank is adjacent to the bottom of the other tank, and vice versa. One tank contains a propellant such as carbon dioxide and the other contains a tear agent or other chemical irritant. The invention includes a shut-off valve adapted to regulate the flow of the chemical, and a dispensing head for accurate, controllable delivery.

Abstract:
A shower fixture operable to facilitate the blending of a surfactant into a water stream egressing therefrom. The shower fixture further includes an integrated dispenser assembly. The dispenser assembly includes a housing having an interior volume. A plurality of storage reservoirs are releasably secured to the housing proximate the upper end thereof. Disposed within the housing is a rotational valve. The rotational valve includes an outer wall that is integrally formed with a water pipe of the shower fixture and rotatable therearound. The outer wall of the valve further includes a channel with the channel having a hollow passage therethrough. A plurality of tubes are disposed within the housing and operable to couple the storage reservoirs and the valve. A plug member is further included and is mounted within the housing of the dispenser assembly.
Abstract:
A shower head includes a nozzle unit, a quick connector mounted on the nozzle unit, and a bushing mounted in the quick connector. Thus, when the water flows through the shower head, the ambient air is introduced through the air conducting holes of the quick connector and the air conducting apertures of the bushing into the flow conduit of the bushing to break the vacuum state in the shower head and to perturb the water flow in the shower head so as to produce a turbulent flow in the shower head so that the water flow injected from the nozzle unit is divided into multiple straight water beams and multiple irregular water bubbles so as to increase the flushing angle and area of the shower head.
Abstract:
An air treatment system is provided which includes an appliance and a replaceable cartridge installable therein. The replaceable cartridge contains a liquid compound to be aerosolized and has a cartridge outlet through which the aerosolized compound is discharged during operation. A pump is provided to supply air to the replaceable cartridge to generate the aerosolized compound from the liquid compound contained in the replaceable cartridge, and a controller is provided for controlling the pump to supply the air to the replaceable cartridge to generate and discharge the aerosolized compound from the appliance. The appliance may further include a lift mechanism to assist in receiving the cartridge and moving the cartridge from a loading position to an operational position. The appliance may also communicate with a smartphone or other external device to provide additional functionality.
Abstract:
A removable cartridge for use with a liquid diffusion device is provided. The removable cartridge includes a cartridge housing defining an internal housing cavity, partially filled with a liquid to be diffused, and a diffusion head positioned within the internal housing cavity with a venturi device for generating diffused liquid from the liquid contained in the internal housing cavity. The diffusion head defines at least a portion of a gas supply conduit that extends from a bottom end of the removable cartridge to the venturi device through the liquid to be diffused to enable the venturi device to be supplied with pressurized gas from an external source via the bottom end of the removable cartridge.
