Abstract: An electric scooter of standing drive has a pair of dolly wheels located behind the rear wheel to work as a parking stand. At the parked position with the handlebar stem folded, the scooter can be pulled away by hand, and vertically stand using the dolly wheels and the rear end of the deck frame to touch the ground. The scooter has a front wheel drive to assist it to start from stop, eliminating the kicking start. An electric scooter of standing-sitting drive is an improvement to the electric scooter of standing drive type. It has a seat of flat plate hinging on a pair of supporting parallel posts. The seat works as a front part of the standing deck for standing drive. When the posts rise to vertical, the seat is set for sitting drive. Its handlebar stem can be tilted and set to desired angles for comfortable driving.

The controller controls the brake unit based on vehicle inclination angle information acquired by the acceleration sensor in a predetermined time period immediately preceding a time at which an operation of the second mode operational element is stopped.

Abstract: Motor control systems and methods for micromobility transit vehicles are provided. A micromobility transit vehicle may include an electric motor configured to drive a rotation of a wheel. The electric motor may include a plurality of windings and a plurality of switching circuits. The switching circuits may be configured to selectively direct current from a power supply through the windings to generate a torque by the electric motor to drive the rotation of the wheel in response to associated control signals. The switching circuits may be configured to passively bypass the windings in response to an interruption of the control signals. Depletion of the power supply may result in the interruption of the control signals.

Abstract: To provide a rear wheel braking device for a motorcycle that can reduce an unsprung mass and the number of pieces of components on the rear wheel side of a shaft drive type motorcycle. In a rear wheel braking device for a motorcycle transmitting a drive force of a power unit of a motorcycle to a rear wheel through a drive shaft that extends in a vehicle longitudinal direction, the drive shaft includes a propeller shaft that is connected to a rear end of an output shaft through a universal joint, the output shaft protruding to the vehicle body rear side from a case member of the power unit. A brake disk is attached to the output shaft, the brake disk being braked by a rear wheel brake caliper. The rear wheel brake caliper is fixed to a bracket that is arranged in the case member, and is disposed on the vehicle body upper side of the brake disk.
