Abstract:
A checker-equipped door hinge device for use in a vehicle is includes a check force generating mechanism having a central shaft fixed to a female bracket, a cylinder block fixed to a male bracket and having a cylinder portion, a piston slideably fitted into the cylinder portion, a detent roller supported by the piston, a check spring for urging the piston, and a detent groove provided on an outer peripheral face of the central shaft and with which the detent roller is engaged by urging force of the check spring. The male bracket includes male arm portions for sandwiching the cylinder block inside female arm portions, and a male base portion connected to the male arm portions. The male arm portion is fixedly secured to the cylinder block, and opposite end parts of the central shaft extending through the male arm portion are fixedly secured to the female arm portion.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a path-guided window lifter for a motor vehicle, with a guideway in a guide plate, two slide elements interacting with the upper and lower side of the guide plate for guiding the follower perpendicular to the surface of the guide plate and with an additional slide element which interacts through slide faces with opposite flanks of the guideway and guides the follower in the surface of the guide plate. The object of the present invention is to develop a window lifter of this kind so that increased wear on the slide block can be counteracted. The slide faces are attached spring-elastically to the additional slide element.
Abstract:
An adjustable torque hinge includes a set hinge, a torque providing unit and a torque adjusting unit. The set hinge unit couples a first and second wing plate with a pivot pin. The first and second wing plates forms a pin joint with a first sleeve and second sleeve. The torque providing unit includes a torque spring to provide turn back recovery. A torque adjusting unit has a torque adjustment member. The first sleeve includes a first cam, and the torque adjustment member includes a second cam which couples with the first cam to drive the torque adjustment member to the torque spring. Conversion between the first and second sleeves enables the bearing hinge to be used in both directions, accumulating force both in normal and reverse directions to adjust the torque force for opening and closing operations.
Abstract:
A motor vehicle sliding door that may be supported by a pillar of the motor vehicle and having a sliding door assembly with a self-adaptive carriage. A self-adaptive carriage can allow for pillar attachment of the door to the vehicle body at one or more of the A, B, or C pillars with reduced movement efforts and increased stability while accommodating manufacturing tolerance variation over large scale production runs.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a jack (4) for moving a movable panel of a vehicle, including: a endless screw and nut assembly (14) defining an axis (22); a bearing (20) in which an element (14) selected from the nut and the screw, for example the latter, is rotatably mounted; and a tensioner (60) which is force-tilted onto the element or onto the hearing and which biases the latter by means of mutual axial bearing when the jack is inoperative.

Abstract:
A method and device for determining torque applied to a motor of an automotive power window system includes a motor having a rotor mounted on a rotor shaft wherein the rotor and rotor shaft move linearly along an axial length of the rotor shaft in response to an applied torque. A ring magnet is mounted on the rotor shaft for generating a magnetic field as the rotor shaft rotates. A sensor, in communication with the ring magnet, senses a strength of the magnetic field based on a linear position of the ring magnet in relation to the sensor and generates a proportional voltage signal. A control circuit receives the voltage signal and detects a torque applied to the motor in response thereto.
