    Abstract: A locking mechanism for an opening/closing cover supported by an apparatus case in an openable and closable manner includes a rotational gear, a rack gear, a locking member and a spring member. The rotational gear rotates with an opening and closing operation of the opening/closing cover. The rack gear slides with a rotating of the rotational gear. The locking member has a hooking part facing the rack gear. The spring member pushes the hooking part toward the rack gear. The hooking part restricts a sliding of the rack gear in an opened state of the opening/closing cover.

    Abstract: A hinge includes a stationary seat and two rotating units. Each rotating unit includes a linkage module that has an extension body that has a arcuate slide rail, a rotating bracket module that is rotatable and that has a fixing pin, and a sliding module that includes a connecting frame, a positioning pin, and a linkage member. The connecting frame has a curved groove that engages the arcuate slide rail such that movement of the rotating units between an opened and a closed state results in movement between the arcuate slide rail and the curved groove. The linkage member has a through hole, and an elongated slot which the fixing pin passes through to connect the rotating bracket module such that movement of the rotating units between the opened and closed states results in movement between the fixing pin and the elongated slot.

    Abstract: A door handle rate controller is disclosed. The door handle rate controller includes a damper assembly operatively connected to a door handle such that a movement of the door handle is dampened. The damper assembly may be a piston and cylinder type damper having a piston and a piston rod mounted within a body for reciprocal movement in the body along its longitudinal axis. The damper assembly extends longitudinally from a damper head to an end of the piston rod. A handle side mount and a mounting bracket may be provided to secure the damper assembly to a first and second portion of the door handle. The handle side mount has a first housing bracket pivotally coupled to the end of the piston rod, and a second housing bracket arranged to pivotally couple to the first portion of the door handle. The mounting bracket is defined by an first opening arranged to receive the damper head, and a second opening arranged to receive the second portion of the door handle. The mounting bracket is pivotally coupled to the damper head.

    Abstract: A latch assembly for use in a storage container is provided, and comprises a bracket having a body, a first side, and a second side, the bracket being releasably secured to the first or the second body component of the storage container. The first side includes a protruding segment. The body includes at least one slot positioned thereon, the bracket being secured to the storage container via a fastener inserted through the at least one slot. The latch assembly also includes a handle secured to the bracket. When the handle is moved in a first direction, the bracket moves from a latched position to an unlatched position where the protruding segment passes through a lock box assembly, and when the handle is moved in a second direction, the bracket moves from an unlatched position to a latched position where the lock box assembly blocks movement of the protruding segment. The latch assembly is used in conjunction with a lock system.

    Abstract: A multi-link hinge assembly includes a link rod unit including a base rod, two supporting link rods, two synchronization link rods, two supporting rods, and a supporting plate unit. The base rod has a base rod body, two base connecting portions respectively connected to opposite ends of the base rod body, and two central connecting portions disposed between the base connecting portions. Each synchronization link rod has a first synchronization end portion pivotably connected to a respective one of the central connecting portions, and a second synchronization end portion opposite thereto. The supporting plate unit includes two supporting plates respectively connected to the supporting rods and each having inner and outer portions. The link rod unit is operable between an unfolded position and a folded position, where the second synchronization end portions are away from each other, and the inner portions define a relief space therebetween.
