Abstract:
A pump module with a casing having at least one pump piston is mounted in a reciprocatingly movable manner and may include a sealing element which, in pumping operation, abuts in a sealing manner against a cylinder. An embodiment of a pump module, which is easy to produce and can be disinfected or sterilized in a simple manner, includes a pump piston that can be fixated in a parking position in which the sealing element does not abut against the cylinder.

Abstract:
To reduce the structural volume of a drive engine (1) in a drive train of a mobile vehicle, in particular a working machine such as a wheel loader, a continuously adjustable transmission gear is arranged between the drive engine (1) and a hydraulic pump (5) for the working hydraulic system, which can be adjusted as a function of the load condition of the drive engine (1).

Abstract:
This invention relates to a pumping system. The design of the system is such that bi-directional operation can be achieved using a significantly smaller and hence lighter unit than those currently available. It uses the direction of rotation of the drive shaft to control the opening and closure of the by-pass means for controllably returning the fluid to the first reservoir.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a monitoring system for monitoring alignment of a piston rod assembly of a reciprocating pump, such as those used to pump drilling mud in the oil and gas exploration and production industry. In one embodiment, a monitoring system is disclosed which is for a reciprocating pump (10) of a type comprising a fluid end component (20), a power end component (18), and a piston rod assembly (12) extending between the fluid and power end components. The monitoring system includes a number of sensors (52, 74) coupled to the piston rod assembly, for providing an output indicative that the piston rod assembly is experiencing bending stress, which occurs in the event that the piston rod assembly becomes misaligned, in use of the pump.

Abstract:
A system for controlling operation of a fluid pump includes a pressure sensor operably coupled to a fluid gun and a controller operably coupled to the pressure sensor. The controller is configured to receive an input indicative of a desired pressure at the fluid gun. The controller is also configured to receive a signal indicative of pressure at the fluid gun. The controller is further configured to determine a desired gear of a transmission operably coupled to the fluid pump based on a desired operating speed of the fluid pump. The controller is also configured to operate the transmission in the desired gear to substantially achieve the desired pressure at the fluid gun.
Abstract:
An eddy current coupling with an electrically controllable field current is used to rotatably connect a drive motor to an oil well pumping mechanism where the eddy current drive speed is controlled to a reference speed using a speed feedback control system and operation can be limited in torque output by a torque feedback control system. In a first alternative embodiment, the eddy current coupling output speed is controlled by a stroke modulation unit using a first selected speed for the upward pumping stroke and a second selected speed for the downward pumping stroke. In a second alternative embodiment a controller is used to select torque or speed control for the upward or downward .pumping stroke. An eddy current coupling output stall condition is sensed by comparing the eddy current drive speed to a preselected stall speed and when the eddy current coupling output speed dips below the stall speed limit, the eddy current coupling coil electrical power is disconnected thereby terminating the electromagnetic coupling of the eddy current inductor and pole member to disconnect the drive motor from the oil well pumping mechanism.
