Abstract: A transmission method includes creating an automatic repeat request process for a first packet; setting a lifetime for the automatic repeat request process; and sending the first packet; and when a preset retransmission condition in the lifetime of the automatic repeat request process is satisfied, retransmitting a second packet; where the preset retransmission condition includes that at least part of the time instants within the first predetermined time interval after an incorrect-reception acknowledgement frame returned by the receiver is received is beyond the lifetime of the automatic repeat request; where retransmitting the second packet includes: extending the lifetime of the automatic repeat request process to a third predetermined time interval following the first predetermined time interval, where the third predetermined time interval is at least a time period required for retransmitting the second packet; and retransmitting the second packet after the first predetermined time interval.

Abstract: Example techniques for data retransmission in systems that do not utilize explicit hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback are presented, including an example method by a wireless device that includes starting a timer for a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process associated with a transport block (TB) transmission by the wireless device to the network node. The method includes identifying a HARQ policy for the HARQ process, the HARQ policy governing whether the wireless device is to retransmit the TB or transmit a new TB where no HARQ feedback responsive to the TB transmission is received from the network node before the timer expires. Furthermore, the method includes retransmitting the TB or transmitting the new TB according to the HARQ policy at a next periodic transmission occasion for the HARQ process after the timer expires. Methods at a network node and related apparatuses and computer programs are also presented.

Abstract: Aspects relate to feedback such as HARQ-ACK/NACK feedback in wireless communication systems. Abstract: According to certain embodiments, a method in a wireless device (110) includes transmitting a protocol data unit (PDU) or segment of a PDU on a first link and transmitting the PDU or the segment of the PDU on a second link. One or more retransmissions of the PDU or the segment of the PDU are scheduled on the second link. A positive acknowledgment is received from a receiver. The positive acknowledgement indicates a successful receipt of the PDU or the segment of the PDU on the first link. In response to receiving the positive acknowledgement, the one or more retransmissions of the PDU or the segment of the PDU on the second link are cancelled.
