Abstract: A method of manufacturing a plurality of secondary containment panels and assembling and installing the panels in a secondary containment system of an above-ground liquid storage tank or other retention facility includes forming a plurality of flexible substrate pieces. A liquid impermeable coating is applied to the upper surface of each piece such that an edge segment of the piece remains uncoated. The coating is applied to the substrate piece in an indoor enclosure using a computer controlled robotic sprayer that applies a uniform coating. A system for coating secondary containment panels. An apparatus for spraying a coating on a secondary containment panels. The apparatus may be computer controlled and operate automatically to coat the surface of the panel.

Abstract: A lawn irrigation system includes an electronic device that is selectively manipulated. A plurality of sprinkler units is provided and each of the sprinkler units is positioned in ground. Each of the sprinkler units is fluidly coupled to a water source. Each of the sprinkler units is selectively positioned in a deployed position to spray a fluid onto ground for irrigation. Additionally, each of the sprinkler units is positioned in a stored position. A control unit is in electrical communication with each of the sprinkler units. The control unit is in electrical communication with the electronic device such that the electronic device wirelessly controls operational parameters of the plurality of sprinkler units. The control unit selectively turns on selected ones of the sprinkler units to irrigate a selected area of the ground.

Abstract: A long throw Pop-Up Irrigation Nozzle assembly has no oscillating or rotating parts and includes a cylindrical body having a fluid inlet and a sidewall defining at least one fluidic circuit configured to generate a selected spray pattern when irrigation fluid flows through the body. In order to throw long distance, droplet velocity, droplet size and droplet initial aim angle determine the throw to provide a low precipitation rate (“PR”) for fluidic sprays. The nozzle assembly and method of the present invention achieve a PR of 1 in/hr or less and good spray distribution with a scheduling coefficient (“SC”) of about 1.5 without utilizing any moving components to provide a significantly more cost effective nozzle assembly, as compared to prior art rotator nozzles.

Abstract: A rotary driven sprinkler with adjustable flow rate and distance control where the change in distance of the coverage outwardly from the sprinkler is directly proportional to the change in flow rate. The flow rate at a selected sprinkler design pressure and installed nozzle may be indicated on the top of the sprinkler nozzle housing and its distance of coverage may be set. Abstract: The invention relates to a component of a gaseous fire suppression system. A concealed extendable nozzle for gaseous fire suppression systems is mounted on a distribution pipe of a gaseous fire suppression system. The nozzle consists of a body with discharge openings and a cap. A rod of a nipple is mounted inside the body of the nozzle. The nipple rod has a variable outside diameter: at one end, the rod narrows and ends in a connecting thread, whereas at the other end, the rod widens. Meanwhile, the body has an opening of variable diameter, which permits movement of the nipple rod inside the body; the body of the nozzle has a widening on the outside. A cap is fastened to the body of the nozzle, and this connection is tightly sealed by a washer. The technical result is the even dispersal of a gaseous fire extinguishant inside a room.

Abstract: A rotating distributor for use in a rotary type sprinkler is conically shaped and includes a plurality of water channels provided on a bottom surface thereof to guide water from a center axis of the distributor radially outward to an outer circumference of the distributor. The grooves are provided to collect and guide the water with a minimum of spray and turbulence and to impart rotation on the distributor. The depth of the grooves may be used to control flow and range as desired. An elevation control ring may be provided to vary the elevation angle of water leaving the grooves to control range. A kick angle control element may be provided to modify a kick angle at an outer circumferential end of selected grooves to provide speed control, if desired.

Abstract: An irrigation sprinkler can include a riser and a nozzle mounted at an upper end of the riser for rotation. The sprinkler can include a high flow rate port and a low flow rate port that can each emit a stream of water. The sprinkler can include a diverter valve that can intermittently block or permit the flow of water to the high flow rate port and/or to the low flow rate port as the nozzle rotates. The sprinkler can include a gear train reduction mounted in the riser and coupled to rotate the nozzle. A turbine can be coupled to an input shaft of the gear train reduction and can be rotatable by water flowing through the riser.
