Abstract:
For fastening water level regulators on parts of washing machines, an adapter including a housing having first and second portions each for accommodating a water level regulator, a fastening device for fastening the adapter on parts of a washing machine, and two openings in the accommodating portions for accommodating a fastening device disposed on the respective water level regulator. The fastening device of the adapter is disposed in a central portion of the housing, the first accommodating portion is disposed in a first side portion, and the second accommodating portion is disposed in a second side portion, the central portion being bounded by the two side portions. The opening in the first accommodating portion is disposed substantially perpendicularly to the opening in the second accommodating portion.
Abstract:
An indication device for a laundry washing machine, which has a treatment chamber (12) for laundry that can be pressurized in order to treat the laundry with a cleaning agent. The treatment chamber is provided with an opening (13), which in the treatment position is covered by a door (16) fixed to a surrounding housing (11) and is sealed from the housing by means of a sealing arrangement. The sealing arrangement comprises at least two gaskets (19, 20) surrounding the opening and forming an intermediate space (23) that via a channel (24) is arranged to communicate with atmosphere.
Abstract:
A drum type washing machine includes an outer cabinet, a water tub mounted in the outer cabinet and having a rear wall, a generally drum-like rotating tub rotatably mounted in the water tub and having a rear wall, and a turbidity sensor sensing a turbidity of wash liquid in the water tub and disposed on a lower inside face of the rear wall of the water tub, the turbidity sensor including a light emitting element and a light detecting element.
Abstract:
An integrated laundry center has an integrated cabinet assembly defining a plurality of discrete spaces. Each space can provide a separate module for performing a particular fabric care function. A washing machine is at least partly housed within a portion of the cabinet assembly defining a washer module. A clothes dryer is at least partly housed within a portion of the cabinet assembly defining a dryer module. A plurality of exterior decorative fascia panels are carried by the cabinet assembly and can be selected to coordinate with a decor of an individual's home. The integrated laundry center can also include any number of additional and optional modules providing virtually any desired fabric care function and equipment. The integrated laundry center can also incorporate an optional control system for controlling virtually any function of each of the integrated laundry center modules such as the washing machine functions and the clothes dryer functions. The integrated laundry center can be particularly designed to include only selected modules and to have the selected modules arranged and oriented as desired.
Abstract:
A continuous heat set line for setting yarn, having spaced-apart, elongate, tubular entrance and exit cooling chambers interconnected by an elongate intermediate steam heat-setting chamber communicating therewith. The entrance and exit cooling chambers and the intermediate heat-setting chamber collectively define a single longitudinally-extending axis along the combined length thereof. Sealing heads seal the entrance and exit cooling chambers and the intermediate heat-setting chamber to a degree sufficient to maintain a pressurized condition within the heat-setting chamber. A yarn conveyor extends through the pretreatment chamber for conveying the yarn through the entrance and exit cooling chambers and the heat-setting chamber. At least one piston and cylinder assembly moves sealing rolls into and out of position relative to each other, while independently-operating springs urge the rolls together sufficiently to effect a seal.
Abstract:
A device for washing and drying garments or other items in a single unit. The garments or other items are placed in the device on conventional plastic hangers leaving space in between each item. A manifold with arms extends between the items. The manifold moves up and down so that the arms move up and down the length of the items to be treated. The arms have one set of pipes that spray wash water, rinse water and other washing liquids on the items. The arms have another set of pipes that carry air to the items, drying the items. After the cycle is complete the clothes or other items may be left in the device until needed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating, refreshing or cleaning fabric articles, especially articles of clothing, linen and drapery.
Abstract:
A control installation for solid cleaning bodies adapted to be circulated in a heat exchanger to clean it, said installation including interceptor means in the outlet pipe of the heat exchanger adapted to retain the circulating solid cleaning bodies, a return pipe which recycles to the inlet pipe of the heat exchanger a return flow containing solid cleaning bodies retained by the interceptor means, and a system in said return pipe for processing said solid cleaning bodies and including a sorter (30): the sorter (30) includes a body (31), in which there are two compartments (37, 38) separated by a calibrated grid (40), and turbulence generator means (48, 54) adapted to create turbulence in one compartment (38) to attract into it cleaning bodies which can pass through the grid (40) because of their diameter.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a hook assembly for a door in a washing machine, by which the number of elements decreases as well as assembling becomes more convenient. The present invention includes a pair of supporters directly extending from an inside of a doorframe of the washing machine, a shaft penetrating the supporters, a hook rotatably coupled to the shaft wherein a head of the shaft penetrates the doorframe to be externally exposed, and an elastic member provided in the doorframe to give an elastic force to the hook.
Abstract:
Drum type washing machine including a tub of plastic having a wall for holding washing water therein and mounting a driving part thereon, a drum rotatably arranged inside of the tub, a shaft passed through the tub and connected to the drum for transmission of a driving power from a motor to the drum, at least one bearing for supporting the shaft, a bearing housing having a sleeve form of bearing supporting part, and a stator fastening part extended in a radial direction from the bearing supporting part, wherein both of the bearing supporting part and the stator fastening part are inserted in a tub rear wall, while stator fastening holes in the stator fastening part are exposed, a rotor engaged to a rear end part of the shaft to form the motor together with the stator, and the stator mounted on the stator fastening part of the bearing housing with fastening members on an inner side of the rotor to form the motor together with the rotor, wherein the stator includes an annular helical type core having multiple layers formed by winding a steel plate having tooth portions and a base part in a helix starting from a bottom layer to a top layer, an insulator having the helical type core encapsulated therein, a coil wound on the tooth portions, and fastening parts formed as a unit with the insulator, having fastening holes projected toward an inside of the helical type core for fastening the stator to the bearing housing, thereby reducing a weight of required material, simplifying an assembly process, and assure stable mounting of the stator on the tub.
