Abstract: The invention discloses a tension force stepless adjustment counterweight power generating mechanism and a fitness equipment with the same, comprising a pulling rope, a winding drum, a mounting seat, a central shaft, a spring, a generator, and a regulator; one end of the pulling rope is connected to the winding drum; a part of the pulling rope is wound on the outer peripheral wall of the winding drum; the winding drum is rotatably connected to the mounting seat; the outer end of the spring is connected to the winding drum, and the inner end thereof is connected to the mounting seat; the central shaft is rotatably arranged on the mounting seat. The mechanism organically combines the pulling force process with the power generation process, and uses a regulator to adjust the rotation damping of the generator motor shaft to adjust the pulling force in a disguised manner.

Abstract: The present invention provides a spring return device comprising a rotatable drive coupling configured for releasably engaging a rotatable drive part on a first side of the device and configured for releasably engaging a rotatable drive part on an opposite second side of the device. A spring is engaged with the drive coupling, and a retainer retains the spring. The drive coupling is rotatable relative to the retainer, wherein rotation of the drive coupling relative to the retainer in a first direction causes mechanical energy to be stored in the spring. The spring return device further comprises a limiter element that is arranged to rotate with the drive coupling, and one or more stopping surfaces comprising a first stopping surface arranged to abut a first limiter surface on the limiter element when the drive coupling is in a first predetermined rotational position, to thereby limit rotation of the drive coupling relative to the retainer in a second direction, the second direction being opposite to the first direction. The spring return device of the invention may facilitate reversing the direction of operation of the spring return device.

Abstract: A torque adjustment mechanism is provided for use with a torsion spring. The torsion spring is a coil spring having a plurality of helical coils that define a hollow core. A torque adjuster is positioned in the interior of the hollow core of the coil spring. The torque adjuster has a circular collar on one end and a securing flange on the other end. The circular collar is designed to fit into the hollow core of the coil spring. A clamp is positioned over the exterior of the coil spring in alignment with the circular collar. The clamp secures the coil spring to circular. The position of the collar in the spring defines the number of the coils that are active and establishes the level torque provided by the torsion spring.

Abstract: A bike pedal assembly uses a pawl, a gear and a torque spring to enable a rider to store and release torque energy while pedaling a bike. The pawl and gear are connected to a nut on an axle, which is connected to a crank arm of the bike. Being connected to the gear and a foot pedal, the torque spring stores torsional energy when one end is stationary and the other rotates with the foot pedal during half of the crank arm resolution, while releases torsional energy during the second half to the crank arm. Thus, the pedal assembly, which can be efficiently installed on each of the foot pedals of the bike, allows the rider to store and utilize additional torque energy and provides a more efficient means of storing torque energy than the conventional system.
