    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix an inflator and an air bag into a housing easily and assuredly in an air bag device. SOLUTION: An insertion hole is formed on one side surface of a substantially rectangular housing 10, and a claw 13 is formed on the circumference of the hole. An air bag 20 is held in the housing 10 by hanging a slit 23 of a folded portion 22a of the bag 20 on the claw 13. With the stage, an inflator 30 is inserted into the housing from the insertion hole and a screw portion 34 at the leading end of the inflator is projected from the insertion hole on the other side of the housing and screwed. Accordingly, the air bag is held at the leading end portion of the inflator and the folded portion 22a of the air bag is held by the flange 32 of the inflator around the insertion hole on a rear end of the inflator 30, allowing the air bag and the inflator to be fixed to the housing at the same time.
