Abstract: An electronic device includes a camera. While in a first media acquisition mode for the camera the device displays a live preview on the display. While displaying the live preview, the device detects activation of a shutter button. In response to detecting activation of the shutter button, the device groups a plurality of images acquired by the camera in temporal proximity to the activation of the shutter button into a sequence of images. The sequence of images includes: a plurality of images acquired by the camera prior to detecting activation of the shutter button; a representative image that represents the first sequence of images and was acquired by the camera after one or more of the other images in the first sequence of images; and a plurality of images acquired by the camera after acquiring the representative image. The application further deals with different ways of navigating in the sequence of image, e.g via dragging or pressure detection of touch input.

Ein Objekt oder Objekte können aus erfasstem Inhalt aus der Kamera mit breiterem Sichtfeld erkannt werden. Der erfasste Inhalt kann aus der Kamera mit breiterem Sichtfeld an einer Position mindestens eines erkannten Objekts verarbeitet werden. Üblicherweise versuchen Bediener möglicherweise, Inhalt unter Verwendung von Inhalt aus der Kamera mit schmalerem Sichtfeld einzurahmen. Infolgedessen ist Bedienern möglicherweise nicht bewusst, dass gewünschter Inhalt unter Verwendung einer zweiten Kamera mit größerem Sichtfeld erfasst wird. Ergebnisse aus den verarbeiteten Daten mit breiterem Sichtfeld können Bedienern zur Überprüfung und, falls gewünscht, Aufbewahrung vorgeschlagen werden.

Abstract: A method, comprising: at an electronic device with a display and a touch-sensitive surface: storing a plurality of sequences of images, wherein a respective sequence of images includes: a respective representative image taken by a camera, one or more images acquired by the camera after acquiring the respective representative image, and one or more images acquired by the camera before acquiring the respective representative image; storing a plurality of images that are distinct from the images in the plurality of sequences of images, wherein a respective image in the plurality of images is not part of a sequence of images in the plurality of sequences of images; displaying a first image on the display; while displaying the first image on the display, detecting a first input; in response to detecting the first input: in accordance with a determination that the first image is an image in a first sequence of images, performing a first operation that includes displaying at least some of the images in the first sequence of images besides the first image; and in accordance with a determination that the first image is an image in the plurality of images that are distinct from the images in the plurality of sequences of images, performing a second operation, distinct from the first operation, involving the first image.
