The invention relates to a method for producing wood-based materials comprising at least one flat thin veneer layer glued with a support or other veneer layers consisting i) in impregnating a veneer with an aqueous hardenable composition which a) comprises at least one type of cross-linkable urea compound selected from urea compounds H containing at least one N-bonded group of formula CH 2 OR, wherein R is hydrogen or C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, and/or a 1,2-bishydroxyethane-1,2-diyl group containing two urea nitrogen atoms, urea compound H precondensates and reaction products or mixtures of the urea compound H with at least one type of alcohol selected from C 1 C 6 -alkanols, C 2 -C 6 -polyols and oligo ethylene glycols and b) at least one type of catalyst K producing urea compound cross-linking, ii) in gluing the impregnated veneer with an adhesive composition and iii) in transforming the glued veneer into a wood-based material at a high temperature, along with hardening a cross-linkable urea compound, wherein the veneer impregnated prior to gluing at a stage ii) comprises a substantially uncross-linked cross-linkable urea compound.

Method for impregnating lignocellulosic material with effect agents, comprises impregnating the lignocellulosic material with a fluid formation, which contains at least one effect agent in a dissolved or dispersed form; impregnating the material with a hardenable aqueous composition, which contains at least one cross-linkable compound; and treating the material obtained at an elevated temperature. Method for impregnating lignocellulosic material with effect agents, comprises impregnating the lignocellulosic material with a fluid formation, which contains at least one effect agent in a dissolved or dispersed form; impregnating the material with a hardenable aqueous composition, which contains at least one cross-linkable compound such as low-molecular weight compounds (V), having at least two N-bonded groups of formula (CH2OR) and/or one 1,2-bishydroxyethane-1,2-diyl group, bridging two nitrogen atoms, precondensates the compound (V), and reaction products or mixtures of the compound (V) with at least one alcohol such as 1-6C alkanols, 2-6C polyols and oligoalkylene glycols; and treating the material obtained at an elevated temperature. The invention relates to a method for producing a wooden body having an enhanced surface hardness. According to said method, an untreated wooden body is impregnated with an aqueous solution of A) an impregnating agent consisting of a 1,3-bis(hydroxymethyl)-4,5-dihydroxyimidazolidinone-2 modified by a C1-5 alcohol, a polyol or the mixtures thereof, and B) a catalyst from the group of ammonium salts or metal salts, organic or inorganic acids or the mixtures thereof. Said wooden body is then dried and hardened at a high temperature.

The invention relates to a lignocellulose material comprising a crosslinkable nitrogen compound, technically a formaldehyde condensate, in crosslinked form in a constituent amount (N) of at least 1% by weight, calculated as nitrogen and based on the total weight of the lignocellulose material, in which the ratio (FA/N) of formaldehyde emission (FA), determined by means of the bottle method according to EN 717, part 3, to constituent amount of the nitrogen compound (N) exhibits a value of at most 5.0×10−3, and to a process for the preparation thereof.

La presente invencion se refiere a un procedimiento para la impregnacion de materiales de lignocelulosa, en particular de madera o productos derivados de madera o de materiales para la preparacion de productos derivados de madera, con sustancias de efecto. La invencion tambien se refiere a composiciones novedosas que comprenden sustancias de efecto. El procedimiento comprende las siguientes etapas: a) impregnar el material de lignocelulosa con una preparacion liquida que comprende por lo menos una sustancia de efecto en forma disuelta o dispersada, y b) durante o subsiguientemente a la etapa a), impregnar con una composicion acuosa curable que comprende por lo menos un compuesto reticulable elegido de () compuestos V de bajo peso molecular que exhiben por lo menos dos grupos enlazados a N de la formula CH2OR, en donde R es hidrogeno o alquilo C1-C4, y/o un grupo 1,2-bishidroxietan-1,2-diilo que puentea dos atomos de nitrogeno, () precondensados de compuesto V y () productos de reaccion o mezclas de compuestos V con por lo menos un alcohol el cual es seleccionado de alcanoles C1-C8, polioles C2-C8, y oligoalquilen glicoles y c) tratar el material obtenida en la etapa b) a temperatura elevada.

La presente invencion se refiere a un procedimiento para la fabricacion de cuerpos moldeados de materiales de particulas finas a base de lignocelulosa asi como tambien a los cuerpos moldeados que se obtienen de este modo. La invencion se refiere ademas al uso de composiciones acuosas que contienen por lo menos un compuesto de urea reticulable, para fabricacion de materiales de particulas finas a base de lignocelulosa tratados con esta composicion para la fabricacion de cuerpos moldeados.

The invention relates to a lignocellulosic material which contains a cross- linkable nitrogen compound which is technically a formaldehyde condensate, i n cross-linked form in an amount (N) of at least 1 wt.- %, which is calculated as nitrogen and in relation to the total weight of the lignocellulosic material. The quotient (FA/N) of formaldehyde emissions (FA), determined by means of the bottle method according to EN 717 part 3, and the amount of the nitrogen compound (N) has a value of a maximum 5,0 x 10-3. Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing modified lignocellulosic materials. Said method consists of the following steps a) the lignocellulosic material is impregnated with an aqueous composition which contains i) at least one cross-linkable nitrogen compound and ii) at least one substance which catalyses the cross-linking, b) the impregnated lignocellulosic materials are treated at higher temperatures in order to remove the water and to cross-link the cross-linkable nitrogen compound. In step b) the impregnated lignocellulosic material is treated with overheated steam. The invention also relates to lignocellulosic materials which are obtained according to said method.
