PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel ethylene terpolymer wax, a manufacturing method thereof, and a floor-protecting composition using the above ethylene terpolymer wax. The invention relates to the use of polymers containing an alpha olefin, a vinylester and an ester of an alpha , beta unsaturated carboxylic acid polymerised in the polymer, as additives for fuel oils and lubricants and, in particular, as a cold flow improver in fuel oils. The invention also relates to fuel oils and lubricants added to said polymers, in addition to additive packets containing said type of copolymers.

The invention relates to fluoranthene derivatives of general formula (I), wherein R , R , R and a are defined according to the description, with the proviso that at least one of the radicals R or R is not hydrogen. The invention also relates to a method for the production of said derivatives and to the use of fluoranthene derivatives as an emitter molecule in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), a light-emitting layer containing the inventive fluoranthene derivatives as an emitter molecules, an OLED containing the inventive light-emitting layer and also to devices containing the inventive OLED.

The invention relates to ethylene terpolymers containing the following as comonomers incorporated by polymerisation: (a) ethylene, (b) at least one cyclic amide containing at least one ethylenically unsaturated group, and (c) at least one carboxylic acid that is ethylenically unsaturated at least once or at least one ester of a carboxylic acid that is ethylenically unsaturated at least once. The invention also relates to a method for the production of said ethylene terpolymers and to the use of the same.

The method involves impregnating of lignocellulosic material with a hardenable aqueous composition before or during waterproofing. The composition contains at least one cross-linkable compound, selected from low-molecular weight compounds V, having at least two N-bonded groups of formula CH 2OR, wherein R = hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl, and one 1,2-bishydroxyethan-1,2-diyl group, bridging two nitrogen atoms. The composition containing at least one cross-linkable compound, can also be selected from precondensates of the compound V, and from reaction products or mixtures of the compound V with at least one alcohol, selected from C1-C6 alkanols, C2-C6 polyols and oligo-C2-C4-alkylene glycols. The invention relates to the use of copolymers comprising at least one type of acrylic acid ester integrated in to a polymer derived from heteroatomic functionalised alcohol in the form of an additive to combustible oils and lubricants, in particular as a cold flow agent. Said invention also relates to combustible oils, lubricants and to a packet of additives containing said copolymer.
