    Abstract: The invention relates to cleaner formulations and to the use of said cleaner formulations for preventing plastic articles from discoloring when cleaned in a dishwasher. The cleaner formulations comprise the following components: a) copolymers containing a1) 10 to 60 % by weight of at least one monomer component (A) from the group of the monoethylenically unsaturated C3-C10 mono- or dicarboxylic acids or the anhydrides thereof; a2) 40 to 90 % by weight of at least one monomer component (B) of the general formula (I), wherein R , R and R independently represent H, CH3, C2H5, C3H7, COOH or OH, Y represents -C(=O)-, -C(=O)-O-, -O-, -O-C(=O)-, -O-C(=O)-O- or -C(=O)-NH-, n equals 0 or 1, R is a linear or branched, cyclic or acyclic aliphatic group with 7 to 100 carbon atoms; and a3) 0 to 30 % by weight of at least one further monomer component (C) that can be copolymerized with the monomer components (A) and (B) and that is selected from the group consisting of C1-C6 (meth)acrylic esters, C1-C6 vinylethers, C2-C8 olefins, styrenes, acrylnitriles, acrylamides, vinylformamides, allylalcohols, vinylphosphonates, vinyl-substituted heterocycles and unsaturated organosulfonic acids; b) a bleaching system that comprises at least one component of the group consisting of bleaching agents, bleaching activators and bleaching catalysts.
