Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide the ejection structure of a card type IC memory auxiliary function device which is in simple structure and easily made small-sized. CONSTITUTION: This structure is provided with an extraction member for moving the function auxiliary device 10 so that the function auxiliary device 10 is extracted from a connector on the side of a fitted device when the function auxiliary device 10 to be connected detachably to a connector on the side of the device to be attached is ejected from the device to be attached, and a rotary body 18 for extracting the function auxiliary device 10 from the connector by moving the extraction member from the outside of the device to be attached.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution by inhibiting the drive of a friction roller while the friction roller is moved from a home position to a scanning start position with a unidirectional clutch and allowing the drive of the friction roller while in the movement reaching the home position. CONSTITUTION:While a friction roller 9 is moved from the home position to the scanning start position, a unidirectional clutch 10 inhibits the drive of the friction roller 9. Thus, the tip of a document is engaged with the friction roller 9 not driven, and the document is moved as both an image sensor unit 2 and a document feed unit 3 are moved toward the scanning start position. When both the image sensor unit 2 and the document feed unit 3 are stopped at the scanning start position, the document is placed at a scheduled position of a glass platen 4. While the friction roller 9 is moved from the home position to the scanning start position, the unidirectional clutch 10 allows the rotation of the friction roller 9, the friction roller 9 is driven freely on the document without moving the document and the document stayed at the scheduled position is scanned by the image sensor unit 2. Thus, the constitution is simplified.

The apparatus 1 is provided with a shock measuring circuit 2 which comprises an acceleration pickup 11 used to sense an acceleration as the shock and an HDD-compatible power-supply connector 8. The apparatus 1 has a size which agrees with the form factor of the hard disk drive.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely hold a cover body at a prescribed opening degree without enlarging the size of the whole of an information processor. SOLUTION: The light transmission plate of an LCD unit 20 has a wedge shape (thin part 22A). A pair of hinges 26 which connect the cover body to a device main body so that it can turn are arranged in a space part formed between the thin part 22A and a rear cover. The hinges 26 are constituted by winding the torque plate 30B of the other fitting piece 39 to a shaft 36 fixed to one fitting piece 28. Thus, the hinges 26 can generate a small and high torque when compared with the hinge of a torque plate press contact type. Thus, the cover body can securely be held at the prescribed opening degree without enlarging the size of the whole.
