Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device equipped with a holding flame capable of absorbing the vibration impact more even when the large vibration impact is added. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 10 is equipped with a back light unit 20 for irradiating light to a liquid crystal panel 40 laminating two glass substrates, and the holding flame 30 disposed between the liquid crystal panel 40 and the back light unit 20, and placing the liquid crystal panel 40. Then the holding flame 30 is integrally formed with a rectangular flame main body 31 having a prescribed thickness component at the corner part of the flame main body 31, and is equipped an arm of which the one end turns into the fixed end to the flame main body 31 and of which the other end turns into the free end within the range of the thickness component of the flame main body 31, and stoppers 33a-33d which erect and arrange in the free end side of the arm and restrain movement of the liquid crystal panel 40.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back light unit and a display device where a light guide plate and a frame are surely aligned and fixed even with a display device having a narrower picture frame. SOLUTION: Protrusions 41-44 of a frame 26 engaged with recesses 31-34 of a light guide plate 25, functioning as an aligning pat between the light guide plate and the frame. It also acts to fix the light guide plate to the frame. The light guide plate 25 is so arranged as to cover the upper surfaces of the protrusions, with the light from a cold cathode tube 28 projected even at the upper surface of the protrusion. A gap is provided between the inside side surface of the frame 26 and a side surface of the light guide plate 25, which is formed to reduce a stress caused between the light guide plate and the frame under the difference in line coefficient of thermal expansion factors between the frame 26 and the light guide plate 25.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input pen for touch panel and an input pen, improved in convenience and which does not damage a display. SOLUTION: A touch ball 3 composed of an acetal resin, for example, is provided on a tip part 12 of the input pen, and this touch ball 3 is held via a first spring 15 and a second spring 20. Further, the spring constants of the first spring 15 and the second spring 20 are set so as to establish the condition of (displacement of the first spring 15)>(displacement of the second spring 20)>(deformation quantity of the touch ball 3) when force pressing the touch ball 3 to the side of a main body rod part 1 is operated. Thus, even if the input pen is strongly pressed to a touch panel surface 100 or the like, the deformation of the soft touch ball 3 can be suppressed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which can prevent breaking of an input lead conductor of a TAB tape carrier, even when large thermal and mechanical impact is applied. SOLUTION: An anchor pin 24 penetrates an anchor hole 16 of the TAB tape carrier 10 and an anchor hole 23 of a printed circuit board 17. The lower end side of the anchor pin 24 is inserted in a holding hole 34 of a holding frame 30. Thereby, the TAB tape carrier 10 and the printed circuit board 17 have movement restricted in the plane direction with respect to a holding frame 30. The anchor pin 24 functions as a restricting member which restricts movement in the plane direction between the TAB tape carrier 10 and the printed circuit board 17, and the holding frame 30.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding frame which permits attaining a low cost and, further, holding a display panel safely and surely. SOLUTION: An upper frame 2 is composed of a base part 2a, an edge part 2b and a side wall 2c. The base part 2a forms a picture frame-like shape which continues in the peripheral direction. The base part 2a has four inner peripheral sides IL and the edge part 2b is disposed extendedly from the inner peripheral sides IL. The edge part 2b is bent in the direction that the liquid crystal display panel 4 is disposed with respect to the base part 2a, in other words, in the direction that the liquid crystal display panel 4 is pressed in the state that the edge part 2b does not press the liquid crystal display panel 4. In relation to the side wall 2c, the edge part 2b makes an acute angle with the side wall 2c. The side wall 2c hangs approximately vertically from the outer peripheral sides OL of the base part 2a and continues in the peripheral direction.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely hold a cover body at a prescribed opening degree without enlarging the size of the whole of an information processor. SOLUTION: The light transmission plate of an LCD unit 20 has a wedge shape (thin part 22A). A pair of hinges 26 which connect the cover body to a device main body so that it can turn are arranged in a space part formed between the thin part 22A and a rear cover. The hinges 26 are constituted by winding the torque plate 30B of the other fitting piece 39 to a shaft 36 fixed to one fitting piece 28. Thus, the hinges 26 can generate a small and high torque when compared with the hinge of a torque plate press contact type. Thus, the cover body can securely be held at the prescribed opening degree without enlarging the size of the whole.
