Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepare a resin compsn. which enables a bottle with an excellent transparency and heat resistance to be produced without causing whitening by compounding a satd. polyester resin with a compd. selected from the group consisting of an amide compd., a higher fatty acid and a higher fatty acid salt. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. satd. polyester resin with 1X10 -2X10 pts.wt. at least one compd. selected from the group consisting of an amide compd., a higher fatty acid, and a higher fatty acid salt. In producing a bottle from said resin compsn., at first a preform, is made, which is blow molded at the mold temp. of 100-180 deg.C, and then heat treated for 0.1-30sec to produce the bottle. The bottle production from said resin compsn. reduces staining of the mold without reducing the transparency of the bottle, and enables the frequency of cleaning of the mold to be reduced, thus remarkably improving the productivity of the bottle production.

Besides, the copolymeric polyester resin contains dicarboxylic acid consisting of 20 - 100 mol of isophthalic acid and 0 - 80mol % of terephthalic acid, dihydroxy compound consisting of 5 - 90mol % of dihydroxyethoxyresorcinol and 10 - 95 mol % of ethylene glycol, and 0.05 - 1.0 of a functional hydroxy compound having three hydroxy groups with respect to 100mol pts. of carboxylic acid.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain excellent mechanical properties, transparency as well as gas barrier properties by a method wherein polyester resin composition, which contains specific ratio of polyethylene terephthalate resin and specified copolymer polyester resin, is stretched by the specified stretching index. CONSTITUTION:Preform is obtained by mixing 80-95wt.% of polyethylene terephthalate resin and 5-20wt.% of copolymer polyester resin containing dicarboxylic acid constituent unit, which consists of 20-100mol% of isophthalic acid component unit and 0-80mol% of terephthalic acid component unit, dihydroxy compound constituent unit, which consists of 5-90mol% of dihydro- ethoxy-resorcinol component unit and 10-95mol% of ethylene glycol component unit, and 0.05-1.0 pts.mol. of trimethylolpropane constituent unit with respect to 100 pts.mol. of the dicarboxylic acid constituent unit, for forming. A biaxially stretched bottle is obtained from the obtained preform. In addition, the stretching index calculated by the formula in this case is set to be 130 or more.
