    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the titled bottle to be scrapped in a folding manner, and give an excellent gas barrier property and pressure resisting strength thereto, and further prevent a taste of liquid contents in it from getting worse by allowing the thickness of a barrel part in a polyester bottle comprising a plug part and a barrel part to be 20-150mum thick, and enabling it to be buckled in the vertical direction during the period of non-filling time. CONSTITUTION:The bottle is made in a shape of having a barrel part 4 below a plug part 2 and a support ring 7, and consists of polyester resin. Or, the barrel part is made in a double-layered structure that is laminated with polyester resin and polyamide resin, or in a multi-layered structure that is polyester resin is laminated with resin selected from copolymerized polyester resin formed of a and dicarboxylic acid constitutional unit, a dihydroxylic compound constitutional unit, and a multi-functional hydroxylic compound constitutional unit having at least three hydroxylic groups. The wall thickness is made 20-150mum and enabled to be buckled in the upper and lower direction during no-filling period.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a bottle which is not deformed and is self-standable even when sterilization treatment is performed under heating after filling by making the changing ratios of dimensions in the height direction and in the trunk diameter direction of carbon dioxide-filled drink-filled bottle before and after hot bath test each at a specified value or smaller and making the angle of falling down of the bottle after hot bath test at a specified value or larger. CONSTITUTION: A polyester bottle consisting of a polyester with a crystallization speed measured by a t1/2 temp. elevating method (140 deg.C) by means of a differential scanning calorimeter of at most 150sec is prepd. In this case, when a hot bath test wherein under a condition where a drink contg. 2.5 gas vol. carbon dioxide is filled and sealed at 23 deg.C, the bottle is immersed in a hot bath at 70 deg.C for 1 hour is performed, the following conditions should be satisfied. The condition 1: the changing ratio in the height direction of the carbon dioxide-filled drink-filled bottle before and after the hot bath test is at most 5% and the changing ratio in the trunk diameter is at most 5%.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten the forming cycle of a bottle made of a heat-resistant saturated polyester by specifying the area drawing magnification from a preform made of saturated polyester to a bottle, and the heat set temperature after the drawing. CONSTITUTION:When a bottle 1 made of saturated polyester consisting of a mouth tap part 2, higher quality part 3, body part 4 and bottom part is manufactured, a preform of saturated polyester is manufactured first by injection molding or extrusion molding, etc. Then, when the draw-blowing of the preform is performed, the area drawing magnification from the preform to the bottle is made to be 9 times or more (preferably, the longitudinal drawing magnification is 2, 3 times or higher, the lateral drawing magnification is 3, 4 times or higher, the lateral drawing magnification/longitudinal drawing magnification ratio is 1. 11. 7) but 15 times or less, and after the drawing, a heat set is done in a range of 80-140 deg.C. By this method, a bottle which is superior in heat- resistance can be manufactured while shortening the forming cycle.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a hollow molding with excellent transparency and gas barrier property without damaging mechanical properties thereof by highly drawing composition consisting of polyethylene terephthalate resin and a specific copolymeric polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:A hollow molding 1 is formed by highly drawing resin composition consisting of 95 wt.% - 99 wt.% of polyethylene terephthalate resin and under 1 wt.% - 5 wt.% of copolymeric polyester resin as shown in formula (1) in which the drawing index is 130 cm or more. Besides, the copolymeric polyester resin contains dicarboxylic acid consisting of 20 - 100 mol of isophthalic acid and 0 - 80mol % of terephthalic acid, dihydroxy compound consisting of 5 - 90mol % of dihydroxyethoxyresorcinol and 10 - 95 mol % of ethylene glycol, and 0.05 - 1.0 of a functional hydroxy compound having three hydroxy groups with respect to 100mol pts. of carboxylic acid.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deformation of a neck part and a bottom part of a bottle to be small when the filled contents are heated and sterilized by forming a self-standing bottle of the polyester composition in which the prescribed quantity of polyester and polyester elastomer are blended.
