    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high reliability resistor for an electron gun structure, the electron gun structure, and a cathode-ray tube, capable of preventing breakage, even if a high voltage is applied to it.
    SOLUTION: A resistor 4 for an electron gun structure applies a voltage, which is acquired by dividing a voltage at a prescribed resistance division ratio to an electrode provided to the electron gun structure. It comprises an insulating substrate 52, resistance elements 53 for electrode so provided as to correspond to a plurality of terminals on the insulating substrate 52, a resistance element 54 for resistance, which connects between the resistance elements 53 for electrode and comprises a pattern for providing a prescribed resistance value, and an insulating coating layer 55 for coating the resistance element 54 for resistance. At least at one terminal part B, the resistance element 53 for electrode is arranged away from the insulating coating layer 55, and an intermediate resistance element 57 is disposed between the resistance element 53 for electrode and the insulating coating layer 55. The intermediate resistance element 57 has a resistance value different from the resistance element 53 for electrode.

SOLUTION: The color cathode-ray tube is composed of the following components; a panel equipped inside with a phosphor screen, an envelope comprising a funnel connected to the panel and a neck portion 300, three cathodes KR heated by a heater HR housed in the neck portion 300 at a terminal of the funnel, and plural numbers of electrodes 10 and 20 arranged in a sequence, and an electron gun fixing and supporting the electrodes 10, 20 with an insulating support and a circular portion fused to the neck portion 300 are provided. The electrodes 10 and 20 are fixed through an insulating support, a supporting electron gun and a circular portion fused to the neck portion 300. Moreover, a stem portion 500 equipped with a stem pin 100 that along with holding the electron gun, gives an electric conductivity of each electrode of the electron gun with the exterior of the tube, and a wire 11 that gives the electric conductivity between both terminals connected with the stem pin 100 and at least one electrode of the electron gun. The wire 11 is provided with a bending portion 12 to buffer a thermal expansion caused by the heat from the heater HR.

SOLUTION: This color picture tube has an envelope which has a neck part 300 being composed of a panel, a funnel, and cylindrical glass; an electron gun 1 which is fixedly supported by insulating supports 4, 5 in the neck part 300; and a stem part which has a circular glass part 500 being attached by melting to an end of the neck part 300 and whose stem pins 400, bringing electrical continuity between each of the electrodes of the electron gun 1 and the outside of the tube, are embedded in the circular glass part 500. The stem pins 400 of the stem part and stem lugs 111, 112 being provided at the electron gun 1 are connected together by crimping.

SOLUTION: A coating device for applying and forming a high resistance film on the inner wall 5a of the neck 5 of a funnel to form a cathode-ray tube had a nozzle 31 laid inside the neck 5. Also, the nozzle 31 has an injection hole 31a tilted down for injecting raw material fluid 41 toward the neck inner wall 5a. As a result of tilting the blow hole 31a downward, the volume of the liquid 41 flowing in a vertically upward direction after collision with the neck inner wall 5a is reduced. Consequently, a high resistance film of homogeneous thickness can be formed.

Conductive shielding elements 47 and 48 are arranged to surround these intermediate terminal parts 44a and 45a in close vicinity to each other, and voltage lower than the prescribed voltage is supplied to these from intermediate terminal parts 44b and 45b of a second resistor 27b.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the focusing quality uniform by forming slits extened to the thickness direction of a dielectric substrate and facing to each other in rectangular direction and forming an electrode in both front and rear sides and the slits. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 33 and a capacitor 34 are installed respectively in a rear side of a pair of insulating supports 31 of an electron gun and in the other rear side. A terminal 36 in one end of the resistor 33 is connected with a shield cup C at the tip part and a terminal 37 in the other end is earthed through a variable resistor 40 and middle terminals 41, 42 are connected with middle electrodes Gm1, Gm2. Electron beams from a cathode are converged on a phosphor screen ultimately by main lens composed of an electrode G5, the electrodes Gm1, Gm2, and an electrode G6. Dynamic focusing voltage forms slits in the thickness direction from both front and rear sides of the dielectric substrates of the capacitor connected with electrodes to which voltage is not applied and to the direction rectangular to the thickness direction and an electrode is formed in the slits and thus electrostatic capacity is made large. As a result, a cathode-ray tube having uniform focusing quality is provided.
