PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for soil improvement, which can reduce the number of created underground consolidated bodies while maintaining accuracy and strength, which are required for the underground consolidated body. SOLUTION: This method comprises: a crossing jet using process for creating the first underground consolidated body (1) having radial dimensions controlled with high accuracy by making a solidification material (S) jetted while constituting a crossing jet (J); and a horizontal jet using process for creating the second underground consolidated body (2) by emitting a horizontal jet (J 2 ) of the solidification material (S) in an area between the consolidated bodies (1) created in the crossing jet using process. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil improving method which is carried out under optimum improvement conditions for target ground, by switching an improving material to be fed to an agitating and mixing apparatus from particulate material to fluid substance and vice versa in mid-course, depending on soil character or ground properties. SOLUTION: The soil improving method is carried out by employing an agitation shaft 19, agitation blades 20, and a material feeding apparatus for introducing the improving material into a feeding conduit arranged along the agitation shaft 19, so that the improving material discharged from a lower discharge port of the feeding conduit is mixed with in-situ soil. According to the method, the material feeding apparatus is comprised of a particulate material force-feeding plant 1 for feeding the particulate material by compressed air, a fluid substance force-feeding plant 2 for feeding fluid substance which is a mixture of the particulate material and water, and a transport passage 7 for selectively connecting the particulate material force-feeding plant 1 or the fluid substance force-feeding plant 2 to an upstream side of the feeding conduit via switching means. Then by taking into consideration the soil character in a ground depth direction, the particulate material of the particulate material force-feeding plant 1 is force-fed to a stratum B having a high water content via the switching means 8, 9 of the transport passage 7, whereas the fluid substance of the fluid substance force-feeding plant 2 is force-fed to a stratum A having a low water content via the switching means 8, 9 of the transport passage 7. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and efficiently agitate and mix soil and a solidification material in a triple agitating area which is formed of three rotating shafts. SOLUTION: The rotating shafts 1a on both sides among the three rotating shafts 1 are rotated in the same direction, and the central rotating shaft 1b is rotated in the direction opposite to the rotational direction of the rotating shafts 1a, so that a series of agitating flows, where improved soil continuously flows throughout an agitating area, can be formed. A difference is made between improved soil pressures in the agitating area by making a difference between the amounts of the solidification materials supplied from the respective rotating shafts, so that a horizontal flow of the improved soil in the agitating area can be accelerated. The amount of the solidification material supplied from the respective rotating shafts is changed with time. The amount of the solidification material supplied from the high-load rotating shaft is set larger than that of the solidification material supplied from the low-load rotating shaft. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for creating a solidified pile, which can uniform ground strength in both horizontal and vertical directions, and which enables a treatment pile to be created by increasing its vertical rigidity. SOLUTION: In this method, the leading end of a solidified pipe creating apparatus with three agitating shafts the centers of which are arranged in an approximately triangular shape in plan view is aligned with the original position of the ground of construction, and a solidification material is ejected or jetted from the vicinity of the leading end of the apparatus with rotating the three agitating shafts to cause them to penetrate and to be lifted to construct the solidified pile with an approximately cross section in natural ground soil.
