An in-cell type touch screen apparatus and a method of driving the touch screen apparatus are disclosed. A disclosed touch screen apparatus includes a plurality of pixel rows on which a plurality of pixels are arranged to display an image; a touch sensing unit arranged between two adjacent pixel rows and sensing a physical touch; a light sensing unit sensing incident light; a first sensor gate line connected to the light sensing unit and the touch sensing unit to provide a gate signal for activating the light sensing unit and resetting the touch sensing unit; a second sensor gate line connected to the light sensing unit and the touch sensing unit to provide a gate signal for activating the touch sensing unit and resetting the light sensing unit; and a reset circuit configured to provide a common voltage to the pixels during the activation of the pixels and not provide the common voltage to the pixels during the activation of the light sensing unit of the touch sensing unit.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a touch panel comprises: a sensing unit which includes a first sub sensing unit which outputs sensing current corresponding to a first touch variation value to a sensing line in response to activation of a first gate line and is reset in response to inactivation of the first gate line or activation of a second gate line, and a second sub sensing unit which outputs sensing current corresponding to a second touch variation value, which is different from the first touch variation value, to the sensing line in response to activation of a third gate line and is reset in response to inactivation of the third gate line or activation of a fourth gate line; and a display unit which generates image voltage corresponding to image data to be displayed in response to activation of a corresponding gate line among the first to fourth gate lines. PURPOSE: A photo-sensing transistor, a manufacturing method thereof, and a display panel adopting the same are provided to increase photo-sensing efficiency by improving source and drain structures to expose a channel layer to light. CONSTITUTION: A gate insulation layer (120) is formed on a gate layer (110). A channel layer (130) is formed on the gate insulation layer. An etch stop layer (140) is formed on a part of the channel layer. A passivation layer (170) covers the source, the drain, and the etch stop layer. The source is separated from the etch stop layer.

PURPOSE: An optical sensing device, an operating method thereof, and an optical touch screen device including the optical sensing device are provided to eliminate the need of a capacitor by using an oxide semiconductor transistor having a relatively excellent exposure property as an optical sensing element. CONSTITUTION: An optical sensor transistor(112) senses light and a switch transistor(111) outputs an optical sensing signal from the optical sensor transistor. A gate line is connected with a gate of the switch transistor and a reset line is connected with a gate of the optical sensor transistor. A phase inverter(113) is connected between the reset line and the gate line. A phase-inverted signal is simultaneously applied to the switch transistor and the optical sensor transistor. PURPOSE: An optical sensing device, a driving method thereof and an optical touch screen device including the optical sensing device are provided to arrange only one oxide semiconductor transistor in one pixel, thereby simplifying the structure and operation of the optical sensing device. CONSTITUTION: An optical sensing pixel array comprises optical sensing pixels(110) arranged by rows and columns. A gate driver(120) comprises gate lines arranged in a row direction and provides a gate voltage and a reset signal to the optical sensing pixels. An optical sensing pixel includes an oxide semiconductor transistor performing an optical sensor role and a switch role for outputting an optical sensing signal. The gate driver applies a reset signal to the whole oxide semiconductor transistors at once after applying the gate voltage to the oxide semiconductor transistor corresponding to the row direction.
