    Abstract: PURPOSE: A monolithic photovoltaic cell is provided to insulate a first photodiode from a reference region by including an isolation diode. CONSTITUTION: One board photoelectric cell comprises a plurality of unit photocells. A plurality of unit photocells are integrated in the substrate(110) having a semiconductor region. Each unit photocell comprises a first photo diode(102) and the isolation diode(106). The first photo diode and the isolation diode are integrated in the semiconductor region. The isolation diode insulates the first photo diode from a reference area(152). The cathode of the first photo diode and isolation diode are electrically connected from the first node. The anode of the first photo diode is electrically connected to the second node.
