Abstract:
PURPOSE: A gesture recognition apparatus, and a robot system having the same are provided to recognize four gestures such as waving, calling, raising, stopping gesture for remote distance interactivity. CONSTITUTION: A human detection unit(120) detects the face region of a user from an input image. A gesture area setting unit(130) establishes a gesture domain based on the detected face region. An arm detection unit(150) detects arm region of the user within the gesture domain. A gesture decision unit(160) distinguishes a target gesture of the user within the gesture domain with the location of the arm domain, and the analysis of the type information and movement directivity.
Abstract:
A dual mode terminal and a method thereof for performing the pre-registration hand over by using dual mode terminal which an L2 trigger is not supported are provided to minimize time for transferring between network by using the dual mode terminal. A network switching determining unit determines whether to perform handover based on signal strength information(S100, S110). The line registration request message including the information of the base station performing the hand over is generated(S120). The generated pre-registration request message is delivered to a mobility support unit(S130). The network switching determining unit performs a connection procedure from service network(S160). The network switching determining unit determines whether to receive a handover completion message. If the handover completion message is received, connection to the previous service network is stopped.

본 발명은 망 자원 예약 방법, 장치 및 시스템과 이에 이용되는 이동 단말에 관한 것으로, 단말의 예상 이동 방향을 예측하여 불필요한 망 자원의 예약을 최소화하기 위한 방법, 장치 및 시스템을 제공한다. 이를 위하여 본 발명의 일실시 예에 따른 단말 이동 속도 기반 망 자원 예약 방법은, 이동 단말로부터 망 자원 예약 요청을 받는 단계; 상기 이동 단말의 이동 속도에 따른 진행 가능 방향에 대한 확률 밀도 함수로 표현되는 속도 기반 이동 확률 모델, 상기 이동 단말의 이동 속도 및 상기 이동 단말의 위치 정보를 기반으로 상기 이동 단말의 예측 이동 방향을 계산하는 단계; 및 상기 계산된 예측 이동 방향에 포함되는 무선 셀에 대하여 망 자원 예약을 수행하는 단계를 포함한다. 그럼으로써, 본 발명은, 단말의 이동 방향을 예측하여 불필요한 망 자원의 예약을 최소화할 수 있는 이점 있다. 이동 속도, 망 자원 예약, 무선 셀, 무선 망, 이종 무선 망

A method, an apparatus and a system for reserving network resources based on terminal moving speed and a mobile terminal are provided to predict a terminal prediction moving direction, thereby minimizing reservation of unnecessary network resources. A mobile terminal(310) performs a network resource reservation request about network resources to a central control device(330) when the mobile terminal is out of a signal area of a currently used network resource. The network resource central control device calculates a prediction moving direction of the mobile terminal based on a speed based moving probability model(340) when there is a network reservation request from the mobile terminal. The network resource central control device requests network resource reservation to a network resource regional control device(320) to reserve network resources included in the calculated prediction moving direction. The network resource regional control device reserves network resources according to a reservation request when there is the network resource reservation request according to the prediction moving direction of the mobile terminal from the network resource central control device.

A face recognition result analysis system of an image recognition robot and a method thereof are provided automatically to analyze a failure cause and inform the cause to a user when a face recognition failure of an image recognition robot occurs. A feature vector extraction unit(100) extracts a feature vector necessary for the discrimination of face recognition by using the motion information of an image obtained through an image recognition robot. A differential binary image conversion unit(102) finds out a differential image of two continued images, that is to say, differential value between two pixels of two images. A connection component analysis unit(104) carries out connected component analysis as to the binary image converted in the differential binary image conversion unit to detect a region which is changed spatially. A user region detection unit merges regions, which are adjacent to each other, among the regions detected in a connection component analyzer. A feature vector calculation unit(108) calculates feature amount vectors based on the user regions merged in the user region detection unit.

A method and a device for sharing a presentation file in real-time are provided to enhance a learning effect by enabling a viewer to play the presentation file later in the same sequence and voice as a seminar environment, as presenter information such as text and the voice of each slide is extracted/stored to a viewer terminal without any equipment like a camcorder. An information extracting/storing module(12) temporarily stores text and graphics of a presenter from each displayed presentation screen by corresponding to a display position, and records voice of the presenter. An information transferring module(14) transfers information received from the information extracting/storing module to the outside. A user permission module(16) permits access to the information transferring module from the outside. A storage unit(18) stores the information received from the information extracting/storing module. A method and an apparatus for extracting a shoulder line, and a method for gesture spotting detection are provided to recognize a calling gesture occurring in a shoulder-line, head or above the head even at a remote distance or a short distance although a posture of a user is not fixed. An image of people is received(S100). A space area inside a body is defined for the inputted image(S115). A space area outside a body is defined from the inputted image based on the space area inside the body(S120). An edge area is extracted from the inputted image based on the space area inside the body and the space area outside the body(S125). Shoulder line information is obtained by using an energy function obtained based on the space area inside the body, the space area outside the body, and the edge area(S135).

Provided is a method for effectively transmitting/ receiving application programs in a digital broadcasting network using a module based transmission scheme and an apparatus using the same. The method includes: a) configuring an application program module by classifying program codes and data of a predetermined application program by a component; b) transmitting information about the application program and application program modules configuring the application program using a signaling message; c) receiving a corresponding application program module using information about an application program and an application program module included in the signal message; and d) storing the received application program module in a predetermined database with an identifier to be searchable .

복수의 망인터페이스를 구비한 전송 장치 및 이를 이용한 전송 방법이 개시된다. 이 전송 장치는 IP 패킷의 세션 정보를 추출하는 세션정보 추출부; 각 망인터페이스의 가용대역폭에 따라 세션 정보와 망인터페이스가 맵핑된 테이블을 기초로, 상기 IP 패킷의 세션정보에 해당되는 망 인터페이스를 결정하는 망인터페이스 결정부; 및 상기 결정된 망인터페이스로 상기 IP 패킷을 전달하는 트래픽 분배부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 트래픽을 다수의 망에 분산시켜 다중 모드 동시 접속 환경에서 최적의 통신 성능을 보장받을 수 있고, 망 자원을 최대한 활용할 수 있다. 다중 모드, 트래픽 분산, 트래픽 분배, QoS
