Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for eye tracking control. The apparatus according to the present invention comprises a camera having an image sensor segmented into a plurality of sections; and an eye tracking control unit which determines PSF, when detecting eyes of a user by using the camera, for each of lens of the camera and the imaging sensor by using images for each section obtained from an imaging device disposed in each section of the imaging sensor, and estimates a light reflection point by using a PSF of the camera determined from the determined PSF of the lens and the imaging sensor.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for user authentication using the movement of pupils. The objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and a method for user authentication using the movement of pupils which can rapidly and accurately perform authentication with high security by storing respective frequencies of objects mechanically moving on a screen and security keys corresponding thereto, comparing a frequency detected from the movement of pupils staring at any object with the frequency of the corresponding object, and performing the authentication based on the corresponding security key when the detected frequency is within a predetermined range. To this end, the apparatus for user authentication using the movement of pupils of the present invention comprises: an information storage unit for storing a security key corresponding to a frequency of each object; a display unit for displaying the multiple objects having the respective security keys so that the multiple objects move at the corresponding frequencies; a pupil position detection unit for detecting the position of user′s pupils by time; a frequency detection unit for detecting a frequency based on the position of the user′s pupils by time detected by the pupil position detection unit; and a control unit for recognizing a security key corresponding to the frequency detected by the frequency detection unit based on the security key corresponding to each frequency stored in the information storage unit and performing user authentication using at least one recognized security key.
