Abstract: PURPOSE: A fan motor cooling apparatus is provided to maintain the fan motor at a constant temperature and prevent damages of the fan motor caused due to the over heat of the fan motor. CONSTITUTION: A fan motor cooling apparatus comprises a generating unit(20) arranged in the vicinity of an exhaust manifold, wherein the generating unit generates an electrical energy by using the heat generated from the exhaust manifold; a first switch(11), and a second switch(15) which switches the electrical energy generated from the generating unit; a cooling unit(30) for cooling a fan motor(12) by using the electrical energy supplied through the second switch; a temperature sensor(16) for sensing the temperature of the fan motor; and an ECU(14) for permitting the voltage generated from the generating unit to be supplied to the cooling unit by controlling the operation of the second switch in accordance with the information output from the temperature sensor.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A cooling and dehumidifying apparatus of a headlamp by using a heat pipe is provided to improve performance of the headlamp, and to lengthen the life span of the headlamp by cooling and dehumidifying the headlamp housing. CONSTITUTION: A closed container is filled with operating fluid after forming vacuum, and operating fluid is boiled away in an evaporation part from inflow of heat. Steam is condensed and liquefied in a condensation part through a core part, and heat is transferred from the evaporation part to the condensation part by gravity. A heat pipe(20) is installed in the upper part of a headlamp housing, and plural radial fin parts(40) are fixed in the heat pipe for radiating and absorbing heat. Moisture is liquefied in the headlamp housing, and water is condensed in the evaporation of the heat pipe. An inclined discharge plate(11) having the V-shaped section is connected to a discharge port(12) preventing inflow of water. Water is discharged out of the headlamp housing. Performance of the headlamp is improved with cooling and dehumidifying the headlamp housing.
