    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the working man-hours by mixing the granular or fiber-like rubber chips with the liquid binder, and forming it into a flat plate shape with an extruder. SOLUTION: The granular or fiber-like rubber chips is mixed with the liquid binder, and formed into a flat plate shape by an extruder. As a rubber chips, recycled rubber from tire or the like is used, and desirably, rubber chips of EPDM or the like is used. Except for rubber, olefin group or urethane group thermoplastic elastomer having hardness at 30-90 (JIS.A), desirably at 40-80 can be used. The rubber chips having a mean granular diameter at 0.5-20 mm, desirably at 15 mm or less, is used and the fiber having a mean length at 0.5-20 mm and a mean diameter at 0.1-5 mm is used. As a liquid binder, double-liquid type urethane or moisture hardening type urethane resin, which are conventionally used, is used, but in the case of using the olefin group EPDM or the like as the rubber chips, the olefin group binder desirable.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve comfortableness, low noise, and abrasion resistance, by setting the hardness of the grounding side material of a tire nonskid tool of which the whole body is formed out of thermoplastic elastomer and mounted on the outer circumference of a tire to be softer than the hardness of the tire side material, and respectively setting the materials to be the specific hardness. SOLUTION: When a resin chain is manufactured, thermoplastic urethane elastomer is used for it, and the resin chain is formed, for example, by a bicolor molding method. The obtained resin chain is formed for example so that thickness of a part 1 of hardness (a) is 5 mm, thickness of a part 2 of hardness (b) is 3 mm, and thickness of a part with a spike pin 3 buried therein is 7 mm. In this case, the hardness (a) of the grounding side material is 50-90 degrees in JIS.A hardness, the hardness (b) of the tire side material is 60-100 degrees in JIS, A hardness, and difference between the hardness (a) and the hardness (b) is set to be 2-20 degrees, favorably 5-10 degrees. If necessary, usually used compounding agent such as deterioration preventing agent or glass fiber is added to the respective materials.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily bend a drain pipe with corrosion resistance and improve the workability by forming end part slits and center part slits at the fixed pitch in the width direction of a sheet made of a thermoplastic resin, and making the sheet round in the lengthwise direction so as to form it into a pipe. SOLUTION: End part slits 2 at the fixed pitch are provided from the right and left end parts 3 to the center, perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of a sheet 1 made of a thermoplastic resin. Center part slits 4 are provided in parallel with the end part slits 2. The sheet 1 is made round so as to form it into a pipe, and the end parts in the width direction of the sheet 1 are overlapped in the circumferential direction of the pipe. Reinforcement such as glass fiber is added to the sheet 1 made of the thermoplastic resin, so as to improve rigidity of the pipe. Formability at forming into a pipe and flexibility against bending in addition to draining property are given to the end part slits 2. By setting the numerical aperture of the slits 2, 4 to be 4-80% of the full surface of the pipe, sufficient rigidity and draining effect are provided.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a binder which undergoes less separation of a constituent thermoplastic elastomer and can be kept in an uniform state for a long time even when stored at high temperatures by uniformly mixing the thermoplastic elastomer with carbon black to form a composite before mixing it with asphalt. SOLUTION: 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic elastomer, desirably a styrene/butadiene/styrene block copolymer is uniformly mixed with 10-100 pts.wt., desirably 30-80 pts.wt. carbon black to form a complex. The carbon black used should have a particle diameter of 5-100μm, desirably 15-40μm and an N2 adsorption specific surface area of 30-200m /g, desirably 80-180m /g. It is desirable that the obtained binder comprises 96.5-70 pts.wt. asphalt, 3-15 pts.wt. thermoplastic elastomer and 0.5-15 pts.wt. carbon black.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency by arranging correctly a base body of a nut at a predetermined position on the inside of a cavity of a mold, by a method wherein the base body of the nut is supported with a pin by providing the pin in a standing state by a predetermined height from the surface of the mold, and synthetic resin is cast under that state. CONSTITUTION:A cavity (c) demarcating the whole surface of a nut is formed with molds (a), (b). Then a hole (f) in which a core (e) where a male screw (d) is formed is fitted is bored into the surface of the mold (a), and the core (e) is buried into the hole (f). A stopper pin (g) is provided on the surface of the mold (a) in a standing state, and a projecting length of the pin (g) is decided to be a length of a base body (k) of the nut which is to be stayed within a predetermined position of a space of the cavity (c). The mold (b) is constituted so as to be combined with the mold (a). Then the circumference of the base body (k) of the nut is covered with synthetic resin (h) by casting the synthetic resin within the cavity (c). Then the mold (b) is removed, a molded nut N is pulled out of the mold (a) while the core (e) is kept screwed on, and at a point of time when the pin (g) has gotten out of the inside of the synthetic resin (h) completely, the nut N is screwed off from the male screw (d) of the core (e).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:A composition that is composed of a styrene block copolymer, a low-molecular-weight olefin, an olefinic processing aid and a plasticizer oil, thus being suitable for use as water tanks and their peripheral equipment, because it resists deterioration caused by chlorine in drinking water, causes no migration of the plasticizer into water and has reduced permanent compression set. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by using (A) 30-60wt% of a styrene block copolymer (SEBS), (B) 15-30wt% of a low molecular weight olefinic softenic agent (PIB) (C) 5-30wt% of a plasticizer oil and (D) 5-30wt% of an olefinic processing aid. Component A is preferably a styrene-ethylene- butylene-styrene block copolymer of 10-50wt% of styrene and 10,000-300,000 mol.wt. component B has preferably molecular weight of 30,000-50,000. Component D is preferably polypropylene or an ethylene-propylene block copolymer.

    CONSTITUTION: The objective composition contains (A) a polyamide resin and (B) a styrene-butadiene copolymer containing 45W80wt% of styrene. As the component B, styrene may be displaced with an unsaturated carboxylic acid, preferably acrylic acid up to 30wt%.
