Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency by arranging correctly a base body of a nut at a predetermined position on the inside of a cavity of a mold, by a method wherein the base body of the nut is supported with a pin by providing the pin in a standing state by a predetermined height from the surface of the mold, and synthetic resin is cast under that state. CONSTITUTION:A cavity (c) demarcating the whole surface of a nut is formed with molds (a), (b). Then a hole (f) in which a core (e) where a male screw (d) is formed is fitted is bored into the surface of the mold (a), and the core (e) is buried into the hole (f). A stopper pin (g) is provided on the surface of the mold (a) in a standing state, and a projecting length of the pin (g) is decided to be a length of a base body (k) of the nut which is to be stayed within a predetermined position of a space of the cavity (c). The mold (b) is constituted so as to be combined with the mold (a). Then the circumference of the base body (k) of the nut is covered with synthetic resin (h) by casting the synthetic resin within the cavity (c). Then the mold (b) is removed, a molded nut N is pulled out of the mold (a) while the core (e) is kept screwed on, and at a point of time when the pin (g) has gotten out of the inside of the synthetic resin (h) completely, the nut N is screwed off from the male screw (d) of the core (e).

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which has the combination of both merits of a rubber and PE, by kneading the rubber and ultra-high M.W. PE in the presence of a radial initiator and crosslinking agent. CONSTITUTION:The subject composition is obtained by kneading rubber (e.g., styrenebutadiene rubber) with PE of ultra-high molecular weight (preferably 800,000-5,000,000) in the presence of a radical initiator, preferably thiazole, guanidine, thiuram or zinc white and a crosslinking agent, preferably sulfur, sulfur crosslinking agent, peroxide crosslinking agent at a temperature higher than the softening point of PE, preferably at 150-170 deg.C.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the thickness of each rubber layers as required thickness and to prepare fully homogeneously as a whole, by filling the rubber between each rigid plates and by manufacturing a semi-finished product having a length longer than required length for earthquake insulating and absorbing assembly, and by heating, pressurizing and extruding the excessive rubber to the outside of the rigid plate. CONSTITUTION:The rubber is equally filled respectively between insert plates 11, 11 and between the insert plate 11 and a mounting flange 12, then adhered respectively to the insert plate 11 and the mounting flange 12. By heating and pressurizing, semi-finished product 15 is gradually shortened its length owing to the gradual extrusion of excessive rubber outwards in the radius direction under the cooperation of the peripheral surface of a central penetrating hole 15a with a guide shaft 17. When a top force 21 descends to the position abutting against a spacer 23, its length is equal to the regired length of earthquake insulatingand absorbing assembly as a final product. Here at the semi-finished product 15, the thickness of rubber filling between each insert plates and be tween the insert plate 11 and the mounting flange 12 are all uniform.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the fluidity of molten rubber and enhance the quality of rubber layer and at the same time prevent metal plate from putting aside by a method wherein rubber is flowed among respective metal plates through an injection passage piercing at the central part of the metal plates. CONSTITUTION:An injection mold 11 consists of two splits 12a and 12b. A plurality of metal plates 3, at the central portion of each of which a through hole 3a is provided, are arranged so as to respectively position in the groove positions 14a and 14b of the two splits. At the same time, molten rubber is flowed through a sprue hole 16 and a runner 17 and via the one mounting flange 2 with a through hole 2a in a cavity 13. Because the molten rubber simultaneously flows in metal plate gaps 19 after filling an injection passage 18, molten rubber pressure is applied to the front and rear surfaces of all the metal plates 3, resulting in preventing the metal plate from putting aside and producing plastic deformation.

Next, when the film holder 6 is drawn out by holding the slide mechanism 30 and moved to a specified stage and the film holder 6 is drawn out to the specified position, the image of a document, etc., is projected to be large on the screen by an overhead projector 1. In such a case, a projected image is perfectly prevented from being deviated or inclined.

CONSTITUTION:The objective composition obtained by kneading, e.g., (A) 100 pts.wt. ultrahigh-molecular weight polyethylene having 800000-5000000 molecular weight with (B) 1-100 pts.wt. rubber compound containing carbon black (e.g., styrene-based or butadiene-based rubber) in the presence of (C) a radical polymerization initiator (e.g., thiazole-based, guanidine-based, thiuram-based initiator or zinc flower) at >=130 deg.C.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the abrasion resistance and friction resistance of a styrene rubber, by kneading the rubber with an ultrahigh-MW polyethylene at a temperature >= the softening point of the polyethylene. CONSTITUTION:A styrene rubber and an ultrahigh-MW polyethylene of an MW of 500000-5000000 are used in a ratio of 1-99:99-1 (e.g., 64:40). The polyethylene is preheated to a temperature >= its softening point, e.g., 135 deg.C under agitation, and mixed with a styrene rubber of a combined styrene content of 10-70% and, optionally, additives such as carbon black. The obtained mixture is kneaded at 140-180 deg.C to effect the dispersion of the both and the crosslinking of the styrene rubber. The obtained composition can be molded into spike pins, rubber rolls, etc.
