Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an electroviscous fluid which can reveal a high electroviscous effect with less power consumption by using a phosphazene as an oily medium and a powder specified in both specific gravity and moisture content. CONSTITUTION:An electroviscous fluid comprising a dispersion of a powder in an oily medium excellent in electrical insulating properties, wherein a compound containing P=N bonds is used as the oily medium and a powder having a specific gravity of 1.2 or higher and a moisture content of 4wt.% or less is used as the powder. Compounds containing P=N bonds are a group of compounds generally called phosphazene, among which compounds selected from the following groups (1) and (2), having high chemical stability, excellent electrical insulating properties, and a melting point of below 40 deg.C are preferably used: (1) a group of compounds of a cyclic structure, having at least three P=N bonds in the molecule and (2) a group of compounds of a chain structure having continuously repeated P=N bonds. Examples of the powder include non-oxide powders, such as a carbon powder, as SiC powder, TiC powder, and a B4C powder, and oxide powders comprising zeolite, amorphous silica, barium titanate, etc.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an electroviscous fluid capable of revealing a high electroviscous effect in both low and high temperature regions and improved in long-term stability by combining a fine organic conductive polymer powder having a specified electron spin density with an electrical insulating oil. CONSTITUTION:This electroviscous fluid is formed from a fine organic conductive polymer powder having an electron spin density of at least 10 /g and an electrical insulating oil. As the conductive polymer, those obtained by oxidative polymerization followed by dedoping are used. Examples of the conductive polymer include a polyaniline and its derivative, a polypyrrole, and a polythiophene, among which a polyaniline or its derivative is preferably used. Dedoping can be effected by electrochemical reduction, chemical reduction with a catalyst such as hydrazine, alkali treatment, etc.; however, alkali treatment is desirable since the conductivity of the conductive polymer can be reduced most effectively by adjusting the pH.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To stably raise the electroviscous effect without accompanied by an increase in current value by adding a specified amount of a phosphazene to an electroviscous fluid comprising a dispersion of an organic or inorganic powder in an oily medium. CONSTITUTION:An electroviscous fluid comprising a dispersion of an organic or inorganic powder in an oily medium excellent in electrical insulating properties, which has at least 0.001wt.% compound containing P=N bonds added thereto. Examples of the oily medium include a silicone oil, a mineral oil, and a paraffin oil, among which a silicone oil is preferably used because it can be used even when in direct contact with a material having rubber-like elasticity. Examples of the powder as the disperse phase include an SiC powder, a TiC powder, a B4C powder, and a carbonaceous powder. Compounds containing P=N bonds are generally called phosphazene and include the following three types: (1) a group of compounds of a cyclic structure, having at least three P=N bonds in the molecule; (2) a group of compounds of a chain structure having continuously repeated P=N bonds; and (3) a group of compounds of a three-dimensional network structure formed by P=N bonds.

CONSTITUTION:In the toe part of the sole, hobnails 1 and 2 are arranged in the positions corresponding to a first finger and a second finger, respectively. In a stamping part, between the circumferences of two cocentric circles with diameters 6-9cm of a first circle having a center on the bending position of a foot and, simultaneously, having the circumference in the approximate outline of the stamping part of a sole and second circle in which a radius is smaller by 0.5-1.0cm, a hobnail 3 is arranged in the position in which a foot pressure is high at an internal side, a hobnail 4 is arranged separately by 3-5cm from the hobnail 3, a hobnail 5 is arranged in the position approximately on a foot reference line l1 at the toe side, a hobnail 6 is arranged in the position corresponding to a fifth finger at an external side, and hobnails 7 and 8 are arranged in the positions separate by 3-5cm from each other off a maximum foot pressure position at the external side. At a heel internal side, hobnails 9 and 10 are arranged separately by 2.0-3.5cm at an equal interval from a foot pressure central position, and at the external side hobnails 11 and 12 are arranged separately by 3.0-5.0cm in the same way. Thus, the function lowered in middle to high generations can be supplemented at the time of swing and the time of walking.

The amount of the plastic resin blended is 3-40pts.wt. preferably 5-35pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. rubber and the amount of the thermosetting resin is 0.1-20pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. of the rubber + the thermoplastic resin.
