    Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform reliably adjustment of the position between a top plate and a heater board by holding a gap between the top plate and fingers at a predetermined space. CONSTITUTION:A top plate member 104 is grasped by fingers 26b, 26c. By moving the fingers 26b, 26c, the top plate member 104 is set on a heater board 102 with bonding agents 80a, 80b therebetween and, in this setting state, the grasp by the fingers 26b, 26c is released. The fingers 26b, 26c are made engageable with an ink injection part 118 of the top plate member 104 from the lateral direction of the injection part and are moved in the lateral direction to abut against the ink injection part, thereby adjusting the relative position between each heater 112 of the heater board 102 and each nozzle 106 of the top plate member 104.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To drastically improve working efficiency by comparing measured machined positions with the corresponding positional reference values to obtain an amount of deviation between the machined position and the positional reference value and moving a work based on the amount of deviation. CONSTITUTION:The central position of two beam fluxes with which the machining surface is irradiated is decided as the positional reference value. Each of the machining positions on the machining surface of the work W which is irradiated with two beam fluxes is measured by using measuring optics systems 70, 80. The measures machining positions are compared with the corresponding positional reference values to obtain an amount of deviation between the machining position and the positional reference value. The work W is moved based on the amount of deviation obtained. In this way, the machining positions with respect to the beam fluxes corresponding to the plural holes to be machined can be aligned concerning plural machining positions at the same time.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To bond plural members to each other without discharging the ultraviolet rays to the outside by irradiating the ultraviolet rays emitted fro a light source means on an adhesive interposed between the contact surfaces of the members to be bonded through a light guide means so as to harden the adhesive. CONSTITUTION:Suction members 26b and 26c are formed of an ultraviolet ray impermeable material, suction openings opened to the lower sides of the suction members 26b and 26c are prescribed by the end openings of communicating pipes 26f and 26g respectively, and the communicating pipes 26f and 26g are connected selectively to a negative pressure generating mechanism and a positive pressure generating mechanism through switch valves. In the suction members 26b and 26c, the first light guides 57 opening their one end facing the applying positions of the adhesive at the lower sides and opening the other ends to the side surfaces, and to guide the ultraviolet rays irradiated to the other end openings through the second light guides 56 to the one side openings, are embedded. Between a heater board 102 and a top plate 104, and adhesive of an ultraviolet ray hardening property is applied, both members are positioned, and the ultraviolet rays are irradiated to harden the adhesive so as to bond both members.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid jet recording head in which recording liquid jetting performance can be enhanced by making thin a resin layer forming a jet port thereby increasing the opening area of the jet port. SOLUTION: An injection molded jet port plate 11 is recessed on the side abutting against an element board 17 on which a jet energy generating element 16 is formed by irradiating with a laser beam L to form a step part 15a. The liquid channel 13 in a top plate 10 is then aligned with the jet energy generating element 16 and the top plate 10 is jointed to the element board 17 while abutting the end face thereof against the jet port plate 11 through the step part 15a. According to the structure, the opening area of a jet port 12 can be increased by making thin a resin layer forming the jet port 12 and the distance between the jet port 12 and the jet energy generating element 16 can be shortened.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device that measure the pitch of flow passage grooves, opening areas of discharge ports, thickness of a discharge port plate, and deformation of a discharge port row, which are the characteristic values to be managed of a roof plate constituting a liquid jetting recording head nozzle, simultaneously or in parallel in a non-contact state. SOLUTION: The device for measuring liquid jetting recording head nozzle is provided with first and second observing optical systems 42 and 43, which respectively recognize the pictures of the discharge ports and flow passage grooves of a roof plate 104 fixed to a jig 11, a picture processing unit 51, measuring means 32 and 34 which respectively measure the positions of the jig 11 and optical system 42, and controllers 81 and 82 which process measured data. By observing the openings of the discharge ports and flow passage grooves of the roof plate 104 by means of the optical systems 42 and 43 and measuring the moving amounts of the jig 11 and optical system 42 by means of the measuring means 32 and 34, the various kinds of characteristic values of the roof plate 104 are calculated by means of a preset arithmetic means based on the measured data.

SOLUTION: A plurality of correction tables formed on the basis of data reflecting various factors contained in a recording head manufacturing process are prepared and a recording pattern is trially recorded by using a full line recording head having a memory storing correction data and the tendency of the density distribution of the recording pattern image thereof is analyzed and the optimum correction table is selected from a plurality of the stored correction tables on the basis of the tendency of the density distribution obtained from this analysis and the correction data for suppressing density irregularity is formed on the basis of the selected optimum correction table and the formed correction data is transmitted to the memory of the recording head.
