CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a plurality of work stations, an index station 14 and is arranged at a position on the index table 14 corresponding to at least one of the plural work stations. A first driving mechanism 86 and a second driving mechanism 88 are provided between an upper pressing member 82 and a front pressing member 84 for holding a top board on a heater board 102, and outside the index table 14, for switching the upper pressing member 82 and the front pressing member 84 to the holding state where the top board is held on the heater board 102 or to the non-holding state where this holding state is released.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform accuracy positioning and perform thereby surely jetting of an ink by positioning mutually a specified one among a plurality of jet holes and a marked specified one among a plurality of heaters and assembling a template member and a heater board. CONSTITUTION:As a printing head nozzle, a plurality of heaters 112 (a-e) heating an ink are provided in the upper face of a heater board 102 and a mark 82 for discrimination is provided on a specified one 112c among the heaters 112. On the other hand, an orifice plate 108 wherein a plurality of jet holes 106 (a-e) from which the ink heated by each heater 112 is jetted are formed is fixed on the front face of a template member 104. Then, the template member 104 and the heater board 102 are assembled by positioning mutually a specified one among jet holes 106 with a heater 112c specified with the mark 82. It is possible thereby to position accurately the heater board 102 with the template member 104 and to jet surely an ink from each jet hole 106.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely prevent that a top board is assembled in a state where a heater board is slipped out of a fixed position in the assembling process of an ink jetting head. CONSTITUTION:When a top board 104 having a nozzle hole 104 formed corresponingly to each heater 112 is assembled on a heater board 102 provided with plural number of heaters 112, the heater 112 on the heater board 102 is photographed. A recognition mark to indicate a heater to be the standard is confirmed on photographed image information, and the position of the heater to be the standard is measured. Plural number of nozzle holes including the nozzle hole to be the standard corresponding to the above position of the heater are photographed, and the position of the nozzle hole to be the standard is measured on the photographed image information. The heater board or the top board is moved on the result of the above measurements so that the heater and the nozzle hole which are to be the standard may coincide in the vertical direction.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance computing accuracy by computing a calibration distance as the quantity of dislocation between the optical axes of a first and a second camera based on the difference between a first distance from a reference line to the reference point of a calibration member and a second distance from the reference line to the reference point of the aforesaid calibration member. CONSTITUTION:Each calibration reference point 78d of calibration charts 78 is made to coincide with an assembly work position alpha. Each calibration chart 78 is photographed by the use of both of the first ITV camera 40g of a first position detection mechanism 40 and the second ITV camera 42g of a second position detection mechanism 42. These images are transferred to an image processing device via a first signal converter and a second signal converter respectively. And a distance x1 from the left end of a figure to the calibration reference point 78d is electrically measured based on the image photographed via the first ITV camera 40g, and a distance x2 from the left end of a figure to the calibration reference point 78d is electrically measured based on an image photographed via the second ITV camera 42g. And the value of x1-x2 shall thereby be made to be the quantity x of dislocation.

CONSTITUTION:To the surface to be bonded of the first member 102, an adhesive 80a of an ultraviolet-ray hardening property is applied. Then the first member 102 is placed on a joining force generating means 34. The first and the second members 102 and 104 are unified in respect of the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction each other, one member 102 of the first and the second members 102 and 104 is moved in the Z-axis direction facing the other member 104, the joining force is generated in the joining force generating means 34, and both members 102 and 104 are pressure-contacted. Under the condition of the first and the second members 102 and 104 being pressure-contacted with each other by the pressure-contact process, the ultraviolet rays from a light source 58 is irradiated to the adhesive 80a placed between the first and the second members 102 and 104.

CONSTITUTION:A preliminary delivery timing is set at a point of time where a distance from the inside surface opposite to an ink delivery opening 8 of a cap 14 to the delivery opening 8 is larger than a capping time, when a stabilization of a delivery character is contrived with a preliminary delivery is carried out before a recording in the case of the recording is started again. In accordance of this manner, the ink in a nozzle can be refreshed and an inferior delivery can be prevented from to be produced even though when a recording is stopped for a long time, since the preliminary delivery against the cap can be carried out directry before the recording is started again.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To lessen the time of preheating ink by providing two identical heating signal generating means, one as a first heating signal generating means and another as a second heating signal generating means, thereby to protect the structural members in the vicinity of the ink preheating area against thermal effects. CONSTITUTION:In the embodiment of the present invention, an electricity/heat converting means 11 for use in ink setting and ink drop making is disposed within a nozzle 7, and another electricity/heat converting means 14 is also provided in the adjacency of a liquid ink reservoir 5, wherein the feed of ink heating signals respectively to these electricity/heat converting means is effected through an electric wiring 12, whereby the time of preheating ink can be reduced with the electricity/heat converting means 11 for used in preparing ink drops and the other electricity/heat converting means 14 for use in ink preheating applied in combination, wherein ink preheating takes place with no heat concentrated at one location, whereby the structural members in the neighbourhood of the ink preheating area can be protected against thermal effects.

CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with the following components: (a) a recording unit control means 110 which furnishes a discharge energy gener ating means 102 with an electric signal to form a flying droplet corresponding to an input of a recording signal SA; (b) a heating means 120 which is provided in a liquid jet recording unit 100 and which heats liquid from outside; (c) a capping means 180 which may be connected with the liquid jet recording unit 100; (d) a control means 200 which, in connection with one recording treatment by the liquid jet unit 100, if an environmental condition is not appropriate for recording; gives commands of heat treatment to the heating means 120, and if despite of the elapse of a fixed time period after one recording operation is over and yet the following recording signal is not received; gives a command for suspension of heating to the heating means 120, and at the same time; drives the capping device 180 for connection with the liquid jet unit 100.
