    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for confirming the delivery of a data packet in a mesh network (100) by sending an acknowledgement to an ingress mesh point (104-4). A mesh network (100) comprises a plurality of mesh points (104) that are wirelessly linked together. A data packet sent by a station is received by an ingress mesh point (104-4). A MAC frame (200) is generated for transmission of the data packet and the frame is forwarded to an egress mesh point (104-2) in order to provide a service by the mesh network. The MAC frame (200) includes a field comprising an ingress mesh point address (206) and an egress mesh point (208) address. When the egress mesh point (104-2), receives a data packet successfully, the egress mesh point (104-2) or the intermediate mesh point (104-5) sends an ACK to the ingress mesh point (104-4) or preceding mesh point.

    Abstract: La presente invención se refiere a un método y sistema para enviar y reducir la señalización de retroalimentación de enlace ascendente mediante una unidad de transmisión/recepción inalámbrica (WTRU) relacionada a la transmisión de datos del servicio de multidifusión de radiodifusión multimedia (MBMS) sobre un canal de acceso de paquete de enlace descendente a alta velocidad (HSDPA). El criterio de activación puede ser un valor de CQI operador de corriente en el Nodo B, o se basa en las estadísticas de recepción de bloque de transporte erróneo, o un período de tiempo predeterminado.     Abstract: The present invention is related to a method and system for multi-cell co ordination for multimedia broadcast multicast services (MBMS) in a wireless communication system. An MBMS multi-cell coordination unit is provided to co ordinate a plurality of evolved Node-Bs (eNodeBs) for transmission of MBMS d ata synchronously in multiple cells of the same single frequency network (SF N). The MBMS multi-cell coordination unit may be located in an access gatewa y or in an eNodeB. An MBMS multi-cell scheduling scheme may be preconfigured for the eNodeBs for synchronization.     Abstract: A method and system for performing dynamic link selection (DLS) between transmit/receive units (TRUs). A first TRU determines whether a second TRU has multiple interfaces with a DLS capability. If the second TRU has multiple interfaces with the DLS capability, the first TRU sends a packet to the second TRU through a selected link. The first TRU then receives a report from the second TRU and evaluates quality of the link based on the report. The first TRU selects a link for a new packet in accordance with a predetermined criteria and the quality of the link. If the second TRU does not have multiple interfaces with the DLS capability, the first TRU periodically sends probe packets to the second TRU via all available links. The second TRU sends response packets and the first TRU evaluates the quality of link based on statistics of the response packets.
