    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric refrigerator capable of realizing a long term lifetime by reducing a thermal stress to be applied to a thermoelectric element. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric refrigerator comprises a power source 11 for supplying a voltage to be applied to a thermoelectric element 5, an indoor temperature detector 10 for detecting a temperature in the refrigerator cooled by the element 5, and a controller. In this case, the controller switches the voltage to be applied to the element 5 to the power source 11 in response to the indoor temperature, and controls a power to be applied to the element 5 at the switching voltage on a per capita basis. Thus, the voltage is switched so that a thermal stress applied to the element 5 is small and the stress becomes equivalent.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable inverter output with ripples compensated in a direct current part over the entire range of the operation of an air conditioning device, and maximum output even in ranges exceeding a base frequency, with respect to a capacitorless-type inverter which does not have any conventional filter circuit in the direct current part. SOLUTION: The device comprises a converter 2 which converts three-phase currents into direct currents; an inverter 3 supplied with power therefrom; a compressor 4 driven by the inverter 3; an input ripple rate calculating section 6 which calculates the ripple rate of a direct current part; a ripple compensation calculating section 7 which calculates an output voltage with the ripples of the direct current part taken into account, from the output of the input ripple rate calculating section 6 and the output of a fundamental output voltage calculating section 8 which calculates the present output voltage; an interphase voltage compensation calculating section 9 which compensates voltages between phases from the output of the ripple compensation calculating section 7, the voltage of the direct current part, and the output of the fundamental output voltage calculating section 8; and a PWM processing section 10 which outputs PWM waveform for driving the inverter 3 from the output of the interphase voltage compensation calculating section 9. As a result, the ripples of the direct current part can be compensated, and even if the base frequency is exceeded the maximum output voltage can be outputted in the capacitorless system.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control device for a refrigerator in which the number of failures in starting a DC electric motor is reduced by a method wherein an energization of the DC electric motor is avoided in the case that a high load torque is applied to the DC electric motor at the time of starting energization of it. SOLUTION: Whether or not a freezing cycle 2 is made stable from a time just after stopping of a DC electric motor 7 to a state in which a compressor 5 can be energized is discriminated by a first freezing cycle stabilization discriminating means 17 on the basis of data attained from a discharged gas pressure sensor 16. In the case that it is not in a stable state, the compressor 5 is not energized even if an output signal of a refrigerator temperature control means 15 is produced and at the same time a refrigerator fan 6 is operated at a high speed. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to avoid an energization of the DC electric motor 7 in the case that a high load is applied to the DC electric motor and so the number of failures in starting the DC electric motor becomes less.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a control apparatus by which the operating efficiency of a compressor as an object to be controlled can be controlled at a small current without setting the compressor to an unstable state by a method wherein an output voltage is adjusted in such a way that either an output current value or a power value is made minimum according to a power value in an inverter circuit. SOLUTION: The speed of rotation of a compressor 7 is controlled to a prescribed target value by a frequency control means, and the output voltage of an inverter circuit 1 is controlled. Thereby, either a power value or a current value is made minimum according to the change amount of power or the absolute value of power in the inverter circuit 1, and the compressor 7 is controlled. In addition, the increase or decrease direction of a voltage in the start of the control of a minimization processing operation is set correctly by an optimum- slip-amount storage means 11 in which the speed of rotation and the slip amount of the compressor 7 are stored at a time when the power value or the current value is made minimum, and a minimization control and processing operation 12 is performed in a short time.

A load torque is calculated with a load torque assuming device 2 on the basis of the calculated enthalpy. The most suitable voltage-frequency characteristic is determined by a voltage-frequency characteristic determining device 21 on the basis of the calculated characteristic and then a wave-form generating device 13 outputs a wave-form signal of a wave-form pattern of the most suitable voltage- frequency characteristic from the wave-form memory device 12 storing each of the different wave-form patterns of voltage-frequency characteristic to an inverter device 14.
