Abstract: The colorimetric measuring head (1), for determining the internal colour of a non-opaque material (2), in particular the internal colour of human skin, includes an optical system (3) which emits light towards the material to be studied and is separated by an oblique wall (4) for an optical system (5) which receives the light which has penetrated into and been reflected by the material. The external surface (A) of the head (1), which faces the material to be studied, is continuous and adapted to the surface of the material so as to match this surface either by direct application against the said surface of the material or with an optical wetting medium. The assembly is such that the light (R) received by the detector comes from inside the material (2), whilst the light possibly reflected by the surface of the material or coming directly from the emitter cannot reach the detector because of the opaque separating wall.

Abstract: Process and device for the cosmetic partial or complete lightening of hair comprises irradiating the hair with a laser beam with impulses at a frequency of ≥ 10 Hz which degrades the melamine in the hair. Locks of hair are passed repeatedly through the laser beam until the desired colour is obtained. During treatment the hair is cooled to prevent heat damage.

The second component (A) is introduced into the capsule (5), before installing this capsule in the can; the can (1), is put under a pressure by propellent gas (4) sufficient for the valve (12), during storage, and even though the capsule (5) has been brought into service, to remain in the closed state; in order to form the mixture of the components (S and A), by actuating the dispensing head (1), a reduction is brought about in the pressure in the can (1) placed in a position such that only propellent gas escapes from the dispensing head, which causes the valve (12) to open, the component (A) contained in this capsule to escape and to be mixed with the component (S) from the aerosol can.
