PURPOSE: A power socket which automatically senses an electronic device, an energy management system thereof, and a method thereof are provided to monitor and manage a power energy use history of the electronic device by connecting a plug of the electronic device with an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) tag and the power socket. CONSTITUTION: A plug(120) of an electronic device with an RFID tag is connected to a plug connection unit. An RFID reader(112) receives information for the electronic device from the RFID tag by transmitting an RF signal. A power measurement unit(111) measures power energy consumed in the electronic device. A control unit(113) manages information of the electronic device and information for the power energy. PURPOSE: A lighting device control device and a controlling method thereof are provided to increase energy efficiency by controlling a lighting device according to the existence of a person. CONSTITUTION: A lighting device control device(200) comprises an information storage part(210), a control part(220), and a communication part. The information storage part stores corresponding relation information between a computer and the mode state information of each computer. The communication part receives a mode conversion signal from multiple computer agent modules. The communication part delivers the received mode conversion signal to the control part. The control part determines the existence of a person in each domain with the mode conversion signal of multiple computers. PURPOSE: A integrated building data collecting device and a method thereof are provided to connect to a remote control system only by connecting an existing BAS(Building Automation System)/BEMS(Building Energy Management System) management environment with an information collecting client of each building even in a building having an individual management environment. CONSTITUTION: An integrated building data collecting unit includes a building object filter and CCL(Common Communication Layer) message generator. The building object filter collects, filters sensing information, and operates a BAS. The CCL message generator converts the filtered information into a CCL type. The CCL message generator transmits the converted information to a remote building control server(140).

PURPOSE: A building operating plan-deriving apparatus and a method thereof are provided to implement more efficiently and precisely building operation by drawing a building operation method which is the most close to input condition, based on input information, through a inference engine. PURPOSE: A premises broadcasting and communications mergence apparatus and a method thereof are provided to transmit and receive the signals for broadcast and communications through one existing coaxial cable. CONSTITUTION: A broadcast processing unit(100) transmits and receives the broadcast signal from an outside broadcast network. A communications processing part(200) transmits and receives the communications signal from an external communications network. Broadcasting and communications convergence unit operates as a termination of the communications signal received from the communications processing part and the broadcast signal received from the broadcast processing unit. A broadcasting and communications mergence part distinguishes a user frequency band and a rest frequency band of the broadcast signal. A home server/home gateway apparatus having a function of guaranteeing QoS of multicast traffic service in a home network environment and its method are provided to solve a problem of the related art that a multicast-based service such as an IPTV, multi-point online games and multi-point video conference cannot be possibly performed in a home network environment. A topology management unit(223) detects and manages topology information in a home network. A QoS management unit(225) receives a request for providing a multicast stream with guaranteed QoS from a premises terminal and requests for resource reservation. A resource management unit(228) manages network resources of the home network, searches resources by referring to topology information managed by the topology management unit(223) and reserves them. A IGMP(Internet Group Management Protocol) proxy unit(222) performs multicast routing according to a group subscription request received from the premises terminal. An IGMP snooping unit(221) sets IGMP snooping information and priority information of a switch(230) according to the topology information to guarantee QoS of multicast traffic.
