Abstract: PURPOSE: A process for preparing hexafluoropropylene oxide is provided, thereby significantly improving conversion rate of hexafluoropropylene oxide by increasing the reaction area in the interface between the organic phase and water-soluble phase, and reducing the temperature increase at an early stage of the reaction to maintain the constant reaction temperature. CONSTITUTION: The process for preparing hexafluoropropylene oxide comprises the steps of: liquid-liquid interface reacting the organic phase containing hexafluoropropylene(HFP) with the water-soluble phase containing an oxidizing agent in the presence of phase transition catalyst and 0.001 to 0.01 mole% of fluorine surfactant of formula (I), CnF2n=1C2H4O(C2H4O)mH, wherein m is mole number of ethylene oxide, 6 and 12; and n is an integer of 4 to 12; and the mole ratio of organic phase and water-soluble phase is 1:2 to 1:7.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A process for producing a fluorine based coating agent having a core-shell structure is provided to reduce the amount of expensive fluoro-monomers, to exclude the requirement for a volatile organic solvent and to improve water- and oil-repellence. CONSTITUTION: The process for producing a fluorine based coating agent having a core-shell structure comprises the steps of: (a) carrying out emulsion polymerization of a monomer selected from the group consisting of acrylate monomers, methacrylate monomers, styrene monomers and vinyl monomers, a surfactant, distilled water, a chain transfer agent and a water soluble initiator to form a core latex; and (b) introducing a fluorine based monomer alone or a mixture of the fluorine based monomer with a comonomer as a shell component when the conversion of the monomer into the polymer is 70%-95% in order to form a core-shell particle.

In the formula, Y is -(CH)2-, -(CH2)m-, -CH2CH(OH)(CH2)m-, or -SO2NR2(CH2)m-, R1 is H or -CH3, R2 is C1-C4 alkyl, X is H or halogen, m is an integer of 2-6, and n is an integer of 3-21.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A bottom layer composition for coating a fluoride resin with good corrosion resistance is provided, to improve the corrosion resistance, the sticking to the metal, and the adhesion to top layer enamel. The ratio of the fluoride resin to the adhesion promoting agent is 4;1 to 1:4 by weight; the ratio of copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene to poly(tetrafluoroethylene) is 10:90 to 80:20; and the ratio of one or two compounds selected from polyimide, poly(bismaleimide), polyamideimide and aromatic polyimide to the poly(phenylene sulfide) is 3:1 to 1:10 by weight.
