Abstract: PURPOSE: An air inlet port for a vehicle is provided to flow in the external air by vehicle speed and to keep the air in the vehicle fresh all the time by automatically closing an air duct as the vehicle passes an air pollution area and opening the air duct only if the vehicle passes an area that the external air is cleaner than the air in the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An air inlet port for a vehicle is composed of a pinion gear(3) with a rotary door(2) installed on an air duct(1); a rack gear(7) mounted on the pinion gear and formed with an electromagnet(5) and a return spring(6) in a cylinder(4); and a controller(9) attached with a harmful air sensor(8) and disposed to the electromagnet. When the vehicle comes out of an air pollution area, the harmful air sensor installed to the outside of the vehicle detects the external air and sends a signal to the controller and the electromagnet in the cylinder loses magnetic force by operations of the controller. The rack gear is turned to an original position by returning force of the return spring, the pinion gear rotates together with the rotary door, and an air inlet passage of the air duct is opened.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A noise reducing apparatus of a brake for a vehicle is provided to reduce abnormal noise from the brake system in braking by installing a damper in a piston of a caliper assembly. CONSTITUTION: A caliper assembly(3) is composed of a disk rotor(10) installed in a wheel and rotated during traveling; a brake pad(12) installed in the end of the disk rotor to apply frictional force in braking; a back plate(14) combined with the rear part of the brake pad; and a piston(16) transmitting pressure to the rear part of the back plate in braking. A damping plate(22) is installed in the piston by a compression spring(24) to press the rear part of the back plate in braking. Noise is minimized by damping vibration through the back plate with the damping plate in braking.

When the signal requiring operation of the air conditioner is applied from the operation switch, the micro computer analyzes the signal applied from the refrigerant pressure sensor and the outdoor air temperature sensor, judges whether the refrigerant amount suitable for the outdoor temperature is maintained, and applies a predetermined control signal for maintaining optimum amount of refrigerant to the refrigerant amount adjusting unit.
