Abstract: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation being provided to a subject is monitored. An enhanced measurement of the effectiveness of the cardiopulmonary resuscitation received by the subject is determined by correlating chest compressions with changes in movement and/or composition of gas at or near the airway of the subject. For example, one or more therapy parameters may be measured with an enhanced accuracy and/or precision, and/or one or more therapy parameters not monitored in conventional cardiopulmonary resuscitation monitoring systems may be measured.

Abstract: A portable topical oxygen therapy system includes a miniature gas cylinder containing compressed oxygen, a miniature regulator or having an inlet and an outlet and a wound dressing having an interior configured to cover or enclose an exterior portion of a patient's body. The inlet of the regulator is connected to the gas cylinder. The interior of the wound dressing is connected to the outlet of the regulator. The portable topical oxygen therapy system is sized and configured to be wearable by the patient without interfering with normal ambulation.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling infrared radiation (IR) sources of a sauna including tuning IR wavelength-ranges and radiated power-levels of IR sources, and directing IR to locations on a user's body. In one illustrative embodiment, a sauna may be provided having adjustable heat sources to emit IR at any wavelength resulting in a desirable radiation treatment for the sauna user. In another illustrative embodiment, a method is provided for tuning IR sources in a sauna.

Abstract: A combination respiratory therapy management system creates a combined respiratory therapy prescription that can be executed by a combined respiratory therapy device to provide multiple coordinated respiratory therapies to a patient. The system can update the combined respiratory therapy prescription and implement the updates while the combined respiratory therapy device is in use. An integrated graphical user interface provides the patient and clinician with customization options and quick access to preselected operations of the combined respiratory therapy device. Additional features of the system enable remote access and control of the combination respiratory therapy device by remote clinicians.
